Excited! On Sunday, July 3, Meditation Coalition's BIPOC and Allies mindfulness meditation sit and discussion will resume monthly, in-person gatherings, 11AM-12:30PM. The new location is in Atwater Village at elysian (home of Clockshop), 2806 Clearwater St., Los Angeles, 90039.

These first Sunday of the month events are for anyone "interested in using the Buddhist principles of mindfulness and compassion to help work with and understand better the many painful issues that people of color encounter in America." (There is no requirement that any attendee be a Buddhist practitioner.)

I have attended regularly, since they began in January, 2016, in East Hollywood. (I followed each subsequent move: to South Crenshaw, to Chinatown, to Zoom.) I have been greatly enriched, challenged, and comforted by the various presenters, panels, and discussions, as well as by the "spiritual friendships" that have developed through the years. Sydney Reece will facilitate.

Please come, if you can. Please let other folks know.
