Today, September 30th, we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Shyama Charan Lahiri, known as Lahiri Mahasaya.
An extraordinary being who, from the humility of a life marked by his residence in the eternal city of Lord Shiva, Varanasi, was able to transcend space and time to reveal the beauty of his essence, his immortality.
It was in the mid-19th century that he made the first restitution of Kriya Yoga, a science that was offered to him by his guru, Mahavatar Babaji, and which he shared through his teachings.
Belonging to a lineage where the only premise is freedom of consciousness, his trail of light, so active and constant, ignites the hearts of his devotees today.
May his legacy remain in those who have honored him by transforming their consciousness and expanding in love.

“Divine union is possible through one’s own effort and does not depend on theological beliefs or the arbitrary will of a ‘cosmic dictator.’”
On September 26, 1895, at the age of 66, the man known as Lahiri Baba departed from this plane in the land of Lord Shiva, Kashi.
A perennial inhabitant of the Consciousness of Babaji and Varanasi, it was there that he performed his daily consecrations to the immense power of the Creator Father, transcending geographies by impacting with love souls from different parts of the planet who had perceived the beauty and purity of his Essence.
Considered a Yogavatar or Incarnation of Yoga, a direct disciple of Mahavatar Babaji, he restored the science of Kriya Yoga, approaching it with simplicity and without reducing it to dogmas that skew its universality, as a tool for achieving the direct perception of Truth.
Blessed are we for his journey on this Earth.

Today we celebrate Mataji Shaktiananda.
The illumination of her being and her life experience forged in light, because each of her steps on Earth has borne witness to her profound record of love.
None of her words seek to teach anything, but her life is impossible to ignore. Those who approach her only find a humble and sincere being, nourished only by her impeccable gait.
The correspondence between word, thought, and action is the substance of her being. A natural evocation of truth manifested in every gesture, every glance, every breath.
Her deepest teaching is her way of being and existing in the world. Her presence proposes nothing, but it awakens something in you: your divinity.
Beloved Shaktiananda, may your testimony endure forever in the hearts of those who recognize you in the immensity of your love.
