1. During an anxiety attack, it can be challenging to focus solely on affirmations. Combine the affirmations with grounding techniques to anchor yourself in the present moment. For example, practice deep breathing, touch a textured object, or name five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste.
