The Patient Panel joined many other voluntary organisations at the Volunteer Centre's Knowledge event, 25th June 2025 at Shaw House, and enjoyed talking to lots of fascinating people.

The Patient Panel brings together patient representatives from across different parts of the health service to share information, support each other and give feedback to those who commission and provide services.

Each GP surgery in West Berkshire has a patient group called a Patient Participation Group (PPG), which is the link between patients and staff at their GP practices. A representative from each of the 13 PPGs in West Berkshire sits on the Patient Panel. The Panel also includes people who represent the patient view at the local hospitals and other health services and the Patient Information Point based at West Berkshire Community Hospital.
