Temperatures will further warm today with most rising into the upper 90s to around 100 degrees. Adding the humidity will raise heat indices to 100 to 110 degrees across the region. Extreme Heat Warnings & Heat Advisories are in place for most of the area.

The 10th Medical Regiment Members 1LT Parini Shah and SSG (MD) Matthew Yates (Regimental SEL) took part in the opening ceremonies for the Baltimore Ravens game against the Cincinnati Bengals as part of their Salute to Service.

1LT (MD) Shah and SSG (MD) Yates were accompanied by other Maryland Defense Force (MDDF) Soldiers, servicemembers from the Maryland National Guard Army and Air components, Maryland Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention and 175th Wing, cadets from the Maryland Freestate ChalleNGe Academy as well as active duty servicemembers from across the region in commemorating all of those who have come before in service of both the State of Maryland and of the United States of America.
