Nicole’s Journey

Nicole began immersing herself in a regular yoga practice after her first ankle surgery; a life changing event that sent her on a path she never expected. She began to realize the intensity of royal conservatory ballet training never truly served her mind or body.

Nicole needed a practice where she could refine the stability, strength, balance and flexibility she had built in her dancing career without suffering physically or mentally as a result. The physical benefits she experienced kept her returning to the practice of Vinyasa Power Flow.

About a year into her practice, Nicole took her first Yin class. She finally understood... the power of the mind! Self admittedly, Nicole was resistant at first, like many feel when remaining still for long periods of time. As she continued to challenge her body and mind into stillness, she began to build a relationship with meditation that has informed how she lives her life today.

Now, Nicole wishes to share the many gifts she has received throughout her journey. Her teachings integrate Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Therapeutic Yoga and Meditation. She focuses on utilizing meditation and breath as a tool to release the body’s habitual reaction to stress in hopes that the lessons learned on the mat will translate to her students’ daily lives.
