Last night I had the pleasure of attending the launching of the Seafarers Registry. I was a bit disappointed in not seeing my father's name. Whose fault was that? Mine! Please, if you have/had a Caymanian loved one or friend who was a mariner, go to seafarersregistry.ky and register him/her.

It has inspired me to post information again. May need a volunteer or two acting as moderators. Don't know for certain yet.

If you've contacted me about an ancestor but haven't received information from me, it's because I couldn't find anything. That may be because their information hasn't been transcribed and indexed yet. Many records have yet to be indexed.

Am on the Brac right now and will try to make progress on this site while I'm here. As usual, can't promise. Am 77 now and not as mentally spry as I once was.

Have heard so much positive feedback about Chromebook, didn't realize its browser wouldn't allow me to do these two tasks. Have tried the following browsers: Microsoft Edge, Opera, Foxfire and Google Chrome. Don't know what I'm doing wrong but am hoping someone can help me with it. Thank all of you for your patience.
