Gov. Brewer signed HB 2541 -- let the lawsuits fly!!! Be careful -- the protections with your employer you THOUGHT were there under prop 203 are now GONE!!!

New law can shield firms in ma*****na lawsuits, New state law protects some employers from lawsuits if they fire workers who are under the influence of medical ma*****na or prescription drugs on the job.

Terrible, terrible day for medical ma*****na in AZ on two fronts-- Gov. Brewer signed HB 2541 which really puts you in jeopardy with your employer and the AZ atty general said he will go after growers, sellers etc. under federal law!!

Before the vote, one resident spoke in opposition to the dispensary. That was Charles Cordner, who lives directly across Frye Road to the north. He said the dispensary would make the neighborhood unsafe, that people who were "high" would be driving through and property values would drop.

Chandler turns down medical-ma*****na dispensary, The decision increased the likelihood that no such dispensaries will be approved in the city.

Gov. Brewer still has not vetoed HB 2541! Call her office at 602-542-4331 and tell her she needs to VETO!!! If this bill becomes law- YOU WILL HAVE NO EMPLOYMENT PROTECTIONS FOR MEDICINAL MA*****NA USE IN AZ!!!!!!
