Hi, I’m Deidra - SLP and Mama to a little boy who has autism. I hope that sharing our story will encourage others on their autism and augmentative alternative communication (AAC) journeys.

I’ve learned so much and grown a lot since Colin received his diagnosis. I’ve learned that I can’t do it all, even thought I want to. I’ve learned that my son doesn’t need to be fixed, because he isn’t broken - he just needs some extra help (and he deserves that help!)
