Hello family and friends,
We are in Ny for luc’s annual scans and appointment with his surgeon. This has been a tough year( as with us all) luc has had to deal with some serious infections and he had a hard time not being in school, missing his friends. We are anxious but believe all is good. We will update after we see the surgeon. Prayers are appreciated ❤️thank you all for your support!

Hello friends! Wonderful news, luc’s scans look good. We are cleared for a year!! Thank you all for your love and support. It means so much to us❤️ we have one more night here with family then we head home to our homestead. We are feeling so relieved and grateful!

Hello friends! We are back on the road for luc’s 6 month check up. He will have scans and tests and follow up’s with his surgeons. We are believing for good and positive news. As we travel back to NYC a range off emotions fly through me . As a mom I cannot help but worry a little, but we are confident of one thing , God is in control, He is sovereign and loves Lucas even more than we do. I will update throughout the week. We are so grateful to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. ❤️ we love you all!

Lucas has his braces back on! This may not seem too exciting to many people, but thanks to Bateman orthodontics Lucas has MRI SAFE braces. We are so grateful and have so much love for the amazing people at Bateman orthodontics!!!

Good morning friends, it’s hard to believe it’s been three months already since luc’s surgery. We are on the road back to NYC for his three month follow up. Lucas will have scans and some tests to make sure the tumor is not coming back. We are believing it is gone! Please believe and pray with us ❤️ we will update you as we go through the next few days.

We are so very grateful for each and everyone that has been a support to us. We are still in awe of the love, kindness and generosity of this wonderful community of ours. There are so many who have worked behind the scenes, Karen Williams, Ken and Julie Smith, Samantha Metzler and my wonderful mother in law Ursula. The wrestling team and coach Uveno and our dear friends who helped all day at the benefit. Tracy Bugna, Karen Steier, Jann Davis, Karen and Brian Krieger and Pam Allen. the food was so very good!!! Thank you so much Bannister Beef ,Breeze Inn Again and Rushes for your generosity! Everyone I talked to raved about the food .What about Jane kept us dancing in our seats all day! What amazing talent you have❤️We are so blessed by you all and we stand strong with you that Lucas’ tumor is not coming back!!

Hello friends, we have wonderful news! Lucas’ tumor is benign! All your prayers were heard and held us up during that trying time of waiting. Final diagnosis is spindle cell and chondromyxoid fibroma. Because this is a very rare tumor NYU surgeons will be watching Luc very closely because these type of tumors tend to grow back. We are believing that it is gone and will not come back! We are so grateful to you all for your constant prayers and love. You really have been an encouragement to us . We love you all!

At this time can you please keep the O'Connor family and especially Lucas in your prayers...also prayers for the pathologist that are trying to navigate through all of the information they have received; to come up with a proper diagnosis. I have spoken with Jody several times lately and today and the worry lays heavy in their hearts and minds as they still do not have a diagnosis whether this is benign or malignant and what course of treatment lays a head. They had hoped to hear today but now await Monday at the earliest for answers. Prayers continual.
