It’s all about accountability. I’m posting to share my 1st day of my Beachbody 21 day fix. I’ve got my calendar and marking the days. My first day is 30 minutes of Pilates Fix. Not an easy start. My goal is to tighten abs and trim my mid-section. Share your goal with me and your progress if you like.

Day 6 of my 21 day challenge. I've been doing 10 minute short routines, because of work, but today I decided to bit the bullet and get back to my 30 minute routine. Day 2 of our 21 day fitness challenge. As with all plans, my day was insane and I had morning shift at work. No time to get my workout in this morning, so I adjusted took a long walk after work and did a 10 minute ab routine after work. How did you do on your second day?

I woke up and decided I've got to get back on my exercise routine. I always walk, but life gets in the way and I struggle the same as my clients. I started a 21 day fitness program with Autumn from Beachbody. I started with the Upper Body Fix. It was 30 minutes, but some days the routines are 10 or 15 minutes. I pushed through and finished it. My goal to get my arms and abs toned, but I'm working everything over the 21 days. Please I.M. if you'd like a link to Beachbody for shakes or fitness routines. I enjoy working with my DVDs that I've had for years, but you can get the programs on your phone or computer. Let me know if I can help you. It helps to have a workout buddy.

Now that you finished the 3 day refresh, I'd love to hear your incite. What new habits or recipes did you pick up that you want to retain and continue? What did you like best about the refresh? What was your least favorite item on the refresh? I'd love to hear your experiences.
I'd like to share a few things I have discovered from doing the 3 day refresh a few times per year:
I drink two cups of coffee in the morning with a little bit of almond milk, because I can't drink it black. Sometimes I'd have another cup later in the day. I don't like tea but can drink it if I must. I limited myself to one cup of coffee in the morning per day after I drink the water and shake. I really didn't feel exhausted. I still have plenty of energy throughout the day. So I learned, I can have pep and keep up without the crutch of coffee.
Even if the 3 day refresh seems restrictive, I can do anything for 3 days. It's much more doable than doing 1 week or 2 weeks. I actually didn't feel that restricted.
One other note, some of the recipes like the veggie stir fry, I would cook for my family and add some chicken or beef strips and I'd eat the veggies or have a salad.
Final thought, even if you didn't do it perfectly and missed something, pat yourself on the back for making the effort and taking small steps to achieve a large goal.

Congratulations—you've finished the Refresh! But the journey doesn't end here. Your body should be feeling lighter, healthier, and revitalized.

As you reflect on your journey, think about who else in your life would benefit from the 3-Day Refresh. Spread the healthy word and contact me about finding a way to help your loved ones get on a path to a healthier, happier life.

As hard as we all try, it's impossible to eat 100% clean, 100% of the time. Life has a habit of getting in the way of the perfect diet. So it's important to do the best you can, but give yourself some grace when you waver. When you're ready, do another round of this 3-Day Refresh. Because you've followed the baseline rules, it shouldn't be too tough to get back to business.

As you near the finish line, just remind yourself of all the reasons you chose to do the Refresh. Chances are you're already feeling lighter and healthier. If you don't, it could be that your digestive system is still playing catch-up. It may not be accustomed to eating such a high-fiber diet. But don't be alarmed if that's the case. It's perfectly normal for some people. This too shall "pass."

If you've been adventurous and tried new fruits or veggies that you normally wouldn't be eating, congratulate yourself! Variety is one of the keys to great nutrition.

If you're feeling a little tired, or even irritable, just remember you're providing your body with healthy, clean nutrition, including a generous amount of fiber. Your system may be adjusting to this, along with fewer calories than it is used to. During this time, give yourself full permission to take a break from strenuous activity, and to get extra rest. It's only 3 days. Slow down and give your body the break it deserves.

Welcome to Day 1! It's incredibly important to stay hydrated during the 3-Day Refresh. Water helps you do EVERYTHING! It's the body's lubricant and is required for every major bodily process. It keeps your digestion flowing, flushes out toxins, keeps your system balanced, and helps control hunger.
The 3-Day Refresh Program Guide recommends you drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water every day. So, if you weigh 150 lbs., you should drink at least 75 ounces of water per day.

As I mentioned previously, 3-Day Refresh is loaded with fiber! Why is that so great? Eating a diet rich in fiber promotes satiety, helps balance blood sugar, promotes cardiovascular health and keeps your digestive tract more regular.

While preparing for the 3-Day Refresh, here are some additional suggestions to consider:
Limit your caffeine intake
Cycle down on strenuous workout routines
Reduce (or eliminate) your consumption of red meat
Keep in mind, 3-Day Refresh is NOT a starvation plan, but it is a low-calorie program that's packed with fiber. If your current diet isn't already high fiber, it's a good idea to eat a large salad and/or a few servings of fresh fruits and veggies each day for a week leading up to the program to avoid any digestive discomfort during the 3-Day Refresh.

Clean out your kitchen, removing any junk or trigger foods that could derail your program.
Read the Program Guide to familiarize yourself with 3-Day Refresh and your food options.

Are you getting ready to begin our 3 day refresh tomorrow? Have a nice hearty meal tonight and get ready to eat some of the recipes listed in our guide. Weight should not be the only guide you use, but I usually lose a few pounds mainly water. A better guide is to take measurements today before you begin--mainly waist and hip.
