Class description (women only):

An introductory Alexander Technique/ therapeutic dance/movement group. The group will explore the innate healing power of movement and will instruct through the embodiment of classical Alexander Technique principles. No previous experience necessary!

Date: Sunday, May 19th
Time: 10-11am
Location: Brewster, MA (address TBA)
Price: $20/ per person

Hello, my name is Helen Turnbull, MA, R-DMT!

I am the owner and founder of Freedom to Move Cape Cod, a private Alexander Technique studio in Brewster, MA.

In 2019, Helen earned her 1,600-hour Alexander Technique teaching certification from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She also recently graduated with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. She is currently pursuing her hours towards attaining her licensure as an LMHC, (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), in the state of Massachusetts. Helen is also a Registered-Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT), certified by the American Dance Therapy Association, the highest professional certifying body for Dance/Movement Therapists in the country. Helen currently resides in Brewster, MA with her husband and 9-month-old daughter.

Helen is currently offering private Alexander Technique lessons and introductory Alexander Technique and therapeutic dance/movement groups in Brewster. Helen is passionate about her mission to provide her students with the life-long tools to help strengthen the mind/body connection and empower them on their journey toward self-healing!
