Happy OT Month! 🤍

This year’s theme is Enriching Lives Through Meaningful Engagement—and it truly reflects the impact our OT team makes every day.

We are so grateful for our incredible Occupational Therapists, OT Technicians, and OT Schedulers. Your compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping patients live more independent lives does not go unnoticed!

We loved seeing everyone in their matching OT shirts, it made the day even more fun! Patients loved them too, and they sparked great conversations about the differences between OT and PT. 🤍

Typically on Wednesdays, we wear pink… but today the OT team switched it up—white with a little pink, and we love to see it! 💕

We also dropped off lunch at our Professional Circle clinic in Reno and our Mica location in Carson City to celebrate!

Thank you for all that you do—we are so lucky to have you! 💙

Wolf Pack Fridays just hit different 🐺💙

Our team came ready today, showing off their Pack pride all throughout the clinic—and we love to see it! With such a strong group of Nevada alumni on our team (including several PAs from the University of Nevada’s Physician Assistant Program), these Fridays mean a little extra to us.

After Nevada’s win over Murray State on Wednesday, we’re excited to keep the momentum going as they face Liberty tomorrow night in the next round of the NIT! 🙌

Also, shoutout to those who took advantage of their employee discount at Silver and Blue Outfitters, nothing beats supporting local while repping the Pack. 💙

Swift Institute out in the community! ✨

We were honored to be part of another Orthopedic & Kinesiology Conference hosted by Mike Spevak, PT, and Parley Anderson, PT, at the University of Nevada, Reno in the Pennington Medical Education Building.

Two of our Physician Assistants had the privilege of speaking with undergraduate students, sharing their passion and expertise in their fields. Preston Reugebrink, PA-C, provided insight into the BEAR ACL Repair Technique, while Lorenzo Bayuga, PA-C, presented on common upper extremity injuries and techniques. During his presentation, Lorenzo also mentioned that any students interested in applying to PA school are welcome to reach out to him directly — he’s more than happy to answer questions and help with the application process. We thought that was such a generous gesture!

It was incredible to see the engagement following each presentation — students had so many thoughtful questions, especially for Preston!

A huge thank you to our providers for taking time out of their evenings to share their knowledge and experiences with the next generation. 👏

A special thank you to Marcy, our amazing liaison, who coordinates these meaningful opportunities — she shared that Preston received the highest level of engagement she has ever seen! It was also exciting to have one of our PTAs, who is currently completing his undergraduate degree, in attendance. Moments like these make it even more rewarding to see our team learning, teaching, and connecting with the next generation together.

Celebrating 30 years of making a difference! 💙

Dr. Lynch, Caroline (Dr. Lynch's wife), and Jake, our CEO, had the honor of visiting Family Respite Care of Nevada and adding their handprints to the “Giving Hand Tree” — a living mural representing every hand that has helped support their mission. 🌳✋

Swift is proud to support FRC, which has provided over 300,000 hours of respite care, giving caregivers the chance to rest, breathe, and thrive. They are a true lifeline for families raising children and young adults with disabilities.

Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do — and this incredible foundation is one we’re proud to stand with! 💙

Christina consistently goes above and beyond in her role as a Medical Assistant.

She’s often the first person our patients turn to when navigating medication access, insurance approvals, and pharmacy coordination. Her dedication ensures every patient receives the care they need without delay—and she does so with patience, clarity, and genuine care. 💙

Christina treats every individual like family—listening, supporting, and making sure they feel heard, valued, and understood.

Her advocacy behind the scenes, from communicating with pharmacies to guiding patients through complex processes, allows our patients to focus on their health rather than administrative hurdles.

Her compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to patient-centered care truly elevate our clinic.

Happy Employee Appreciation Day to our incredible team! 🎉

This past Friday, we had the opportunity to celebrate the people who make everything we do possible. Each team member received a custom candle and a handwritten note from their manager, and we also added points to everyone’s Awardco account, our employee recognition platform that we launched earlier this year.

It was incredible to see our managers add some extra special touches for their teams. Some brought in donuts and coffee to start the morning, others provided snacks or lunch, and even set up a photo booth ☕🍩📸. These thoughtful actions made the day even more meaningful for our team members.

We are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and teamwork our staff shows every single day to one another, our providers, and our patients. Thank you for all that you do, we appreciate you! 💙

Swift Institute Out in the Community ✨

Dr. Birdsong and Lorenzo Bayuga, PA recently hosted a hands-on educational workshop with the Carson Valley Health Urgent Care team focused on splinting and casting of the hand and upper extremity.

The interactive session allowed all providers the opportunity to review techniques, share knowledge, and collaborate on best practices for caring for patients with upper extremity injuries.

A big thank you to our Business Development team, Bill and Marcy, for coordinating the workshop and joining the session to help strengthen our continued partnership.

We are grateful for providers like Dr. Birdsong and Lorenzo who are committed to sharing their expertise and supporting fellow healthcare providers across our community.

February has been full of Spirit Days here at Swift Institute! We had to share the fun from our Recreational Sports and Fitness Day. Our PT locations went all out, adding props to their photos and making the most of the equipment available, which resulted in some amazing shots!

They’re all about fitness and helping others get back into their routines, stronger than ever. We loved seeing everyone embrace our photo ideas, our staff is incredible and always willing to let us capture moments to share with all of you.
