Why You Should Be Drinking Bone Broth! 🥣✨

Homemade bone broth is one of the most nourishing, healing foods you can add to your diet. It’s packed with essential nutrients that support gut health, immunity, and overall well-being. Here’s why it’s a staple in my kitchen:

✅ Gut Health & Digestion – Rich in collagen and gelatin, bone broth helps repair the gut lining and supports digestion.

✅ Joint & Skin Support – High in amino acids like proline and glycine, it promotes joint health and gives your skin a natural glow.

✅ Immune Boosting – Loaded with minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, it strengthens the immune system.

✅ Nutrient-Dense & Easy to Absorb – Unlike supplements, the vitamins and minerals in bone broth are in an easily digestible form.

✅ Supports Detoxification – The glycine in bone broth aids liver function and helps the body detox naturally.

This batch was made in my Instant Pot—super easy, incredibly flavorful, and full of benefits. Do you make your own bone broth? Let me know your favorite way to use it!

Delicious and healthy pumpkin muffins!! These are grain-free lower carb and contain no sugar. They make a great snack or pair it with nut butter or a smoothie for a grab-and-go breakfast. A lot of recipes that use coconut flour can tend to be dry so I worked on developing this recipe so that it'll be yummy and moist. Let me know if you try them! I made 24 mini muffins and 12 standard muffins with this recipe.

1 15 oz can of pumpkin
8 large eggs
3/4 cup golden Monk Fruit Sweetener (or increase to 1 cup if you like things sweeter)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup Coconut Flour
2/3 cup arrowroot Flour
1/3 cup avocado oil
2/3 cup light canned coconut milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda

Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately. Then sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold until combined. Divide into lined muffin pans.

Bake at 350° for around 28-32 minutes and for mini muffins 14-16 minutes.

Stress levels and your mental health directly affect your physical health, which is why it's important to address self care. You'll want to intentionally set time for self care in order to prevent burn out and get to enjoy the holiday.

Ideally you'd put it in your calendar and stick to it. Check out some ideas which you can use for inspiration in my last post.

I like to put yoga, walk, or any kind of outing or scheduled phone call etc into my calendar so I can revolve my day around it and make sure it happens as my self care is important :).

Some of these things I might schedule during the time between work and picking up my kids from school, or while my toddler is napping or in the evening after kids are asleep.

And yes, I know in reality it feels really difficult to do because there really is never enough time in the day. This is why prioritizing yourself here is vital.

You know your schedule best to know where you can fit in those self care moments.

Let's talk self care- it's so important to take care of yourself especially during the busyness and overwhelm of preparing for the holiday. Of course it's also just as important during the overwhelm of everyday life.

I know it's easier said than done, but at minimum you want to set aside at least a few minutes a day. Some days you may be able to spend more time on self care than other days but the important thing is to make the time for it regardless of the amount.

There are so many ways to care for yourself. These are some ideas for you to go on.

Let me know some of your ideas in the comments below!

Spinach Artichoke Dip (dairy free)
1 14 oz can artichoke hearts, drained
1 12 oz bag frozen chopped spinach
1 small onion, diced
3 Tbl avocado oil for frying
3-4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup avocado oil mayonnaise
1 tbsp unfortified nutritional yeast (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper
Red pepper flakes (optional)

Saute the onion in the oil until soft. Add frozen spinach and saute for a few minutes. Add the onion/spinach mixture with the oil, artichoke hearts, and garlic cloves to a food processor. Pulse until chopped but not pureed-you want some texture to the dip. Remove to a bowl and add the mayonnaise, nutritional yeast, seasonings, and olive oil and mix it all. Refrigerate for at least a few hours then enjoy. We loved it with sourdough and grain free chips. Let me know if you try it!

I wanted to introduce myself again 🙋‍♀️since many of you are new here. I'm Chaya, I'm super passionate about all things surrounding pregnancy, labor, birth & health🤰🤱. I care a lot about women having positive & empowered births ✨ & healing births if they've had previous traumatic experiences. I love helping people feel better mentally & physically & gain hope when they have almost given up! I truly love what I do! I love the doulaing, coaching, & educating etc. Most of all I love connecting with my clients & seeing all they achieve. My husband & I have 3 children all born at home-each very different experiences. I've had parts that were pretty traumatic for me that took me lots of time to process and heal from. Yes it's possible to have a wonderful birth & still have parts that were traumatic to you. It's also very normal to grieve parts of your labor/birth or parts of your birth goals that didn't happen. I've also been on a long journey that I'm still on, working on healing autoimmune, improving my physical & mental health through holistic modalities. I'm so grateful to have the training I have & to be able to help others on their healing journeys. I also ❤️ connecting with nature 🌳. I grew up on a farm 👩‍🌾 which are some of my best childhood memories. We try & eat farm to table, garden & make things from scratch whenever we can. We also ❤️ camping 🏕️ with the fam & to travel. I care about my Nutrition & at the same time I consider myself a foodie 😄 so I try & connect the two by making yummy & healthy foods 😋 🍎🥦. I've been a doula for 13 years now & am lucky to have had the various experiences over the years. Like seriously no two births are the same & that's what makes it so powerful & special! I take a limited # of doula clients in Jax FL as I've shifted to dedicating most of my time to health coaching. I get to work with clients virtually 🌎. I ❤️ having the holistic knowledge that I've learned as no two journeys are the same which is why it is so individual. Each client experience is so unique. It involves many modalities & of course the use of testing. We ✖️ guess we test. Thanks for being here! DM with Q's or to schedule a free consultation.
