Scene: I was CRUSHING it. Getting it all done at work and at home, finding the time to run and do HITT workouts while still . Things would just roll off my back, too…until they didn’t.
Just like that, I was always tired trying to “do it all”.
At first I thought it was normal to be so exhausted while doing so much (that’s what my doctor said too…"it's just " 🙄)
but then I discovered I was running on and my adrenals were exhausted from “doing it all”...
➡️ Getting late night proposals done for work while my daughter slept on my lap
➡️ Squeezing in a HIIT workout while my kids were napping
➡️ Managing our budget
➡️ Meal planning for our family
➡️Taking care of the dogs
ALL. THE. THINGS.
Led to what I call which is becoming more and more common for the type-A, independent, go-getter moms who do it all.
I just didn’t feel like myself anymore, but it wasn't from lack of trying.
It was because my constant pushing, the stressors I didn't even realize I was experiencing, and the hormonal cascade that followed was depleting my body.
