STOP Trasmision of Polio ( STOP Alumni's Page) STOP Consultants has been involved in addressing the problem of Polio for over 11 years.

Spreading smiles and reaching the most vulnerable children in some of the most difficult areas of the word is what STOP Team Members (Volunteers) are engaged in. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Global Immunization Division’s Stop the Transmission of Polio (STOP) program was created in 1999 as part of the CDC efforts to assist the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Since th

en, STOP has trained and deployed 36 teams (as of today) –comprised of more than 1,000 volunteers – to 60 countries around the world. STOP programme is being jointly imparted by CDC in calloboration with WHO, UNICEF, CPHA, etc.
