Mindset Monday ✨
First thing in the morning grab a pen and your journal and write down 10 things you are truly grateful for.
I am grateful for.. this gives me the opportunity to feel...
Each time you write them down, then close your eyes and feel in your body what gratitude feels like for this being in your life.
5 of the list of 10 are things you have in your life that you are currently grateful for.
3 of them are for things in your life that you are calling in that you are feeling as if you have them NOW.
2 of them are things that are CHALLENGING in your life currently that you are reframing them to be things in your life you are grateful for because of what you are learning.
Share your list!

The neurotransmitter endorphin is associated with well-being. Endorphins have been shown to attach to op**te receptors in the brain, which block pain receptors in the brain and cause a euphoric effect. There are over 20 endorphins in the body. Research on endorphins shows that they may be controlled by the amount of fat intake in a person’s diet. Certain fattening foods may increase endorphins levels and create the “feel good” sensation.

Try the following foods to release endorphins:

Spicy foods like hot peppers, cayenne pepper, horseradish and wasabi

Chocolate releases small amounts

Healthy Fats like nuts, avocados and olive oil

Other ways to release endorphins:

Laughter – More endorphins are released the deeper you laugh.

Exercise – Your body loves exercise and releases endorphins when you engage in it.

Experience positive thoughts – Being truly happy can physically alter your body’s chemistry. Find ways to become optimistic.

Excitement – When our body experiences positive stress, it produces more endorphins. Sexual activity also produces endorphins.

Music – Music that produces emotions releases endorphins.

Acupuncture & Massage – Research shows that stimulating energy in the body through acupuncture releases endorphins.

Sunshine – The feel good factor of a sunny day also produces endorphins in the body.

4.11 Tea – A Healthy Alternative
If you’re a coffee-lover, you might think tea is for wimps. If you’re a tea drinker, you love tea beyond your fascination of England’s high tea tradition. The healthy benefits of tea are numerous and this beverage ranks among the top to enhance health.

From black to green to white to herbal teas, the antioxidants found in teas combined with the lighter levels of caffeine make it a gentle energy booster as well as a health tonic.

Tea is considered a plant-based beverage, and can be compared to fruits and vegetables on some levels. While you don’t consume any fiber drinking tea, the amounts of antioxidants and phytochemicals are comparable to that of green vegetables.

One cup of black or green tea has more antioxidant power than a serving of broccoli, carrots, or spinach! (Prevention, Aug 1998). Drinking four cups of green tea may help prevent cancer.
