Movement Coach

Hello everyone! I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Registered Dance Movement Therapist, Creative Arts Therapist, Dancer, Singer and Internationally Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. I am so grateful to have taken a rich and profound journey from the performing arts into the expressive arts. I am excited to blend my work as an artist coupled with my education and training in the healing modalities to help individuals find ways to speak when they feel they have no voice. I have worked in many different settings that have served children, adults and seniors of all abilities, all abilities dance companies, schools, Arc Enrichment Centers, non-profit organizations, and in the entertainment industry.

Taking inspiration from dance pedagogy and drawing from principles of Dance Movement Therapy, I create a unique movement practice integrating breath, mindfulness, voice and laughter. The goal of this work is to connect the mind and body while creating more emotional awareness, help find one’s voice and to be able to conquer life challenges that offer each individual the opportunity to move through their life with confidence and joy.

I work with professional dancers, actors and actresses from stage and screen, children and adults of all ages and abilites and conduct individual, group sessions and workshops. I have seen the benefits of movement coaching in performance but have also seen its transformational effect on anxiety, depression, stage fright, addiction and trauma. I know from my own experience and from witnessing the experience of others what a significant contributor this work is for life balance and wellness. As I continue my work in the Disability and Dance Community, I am collaborating on developing a dance pedagogy for dancers with Traumatic Brain Injury.

I truly believe in the power of movement and how it can create connections within ourselves and with others. With a passion for people, spreading kindness, compassion, creating equity, and meeting people where they are, I am present in the belief that there are no boundaries that we cannot navigate through on our life's journey to living a full, balanced, authentic and joyful life. So let’s MOVE!!!!!!!
