Integrated Man

What does the term integrated man mean to you?

For me.... integrated man means a man who has and is integrating his wholeness.

Integration of his:

- Masculine energy and archetypes
- Feminine energy and archetypes
- Soul
- Shadow
- Inner child and inner elder

Among many other parts

Integrative men's work then is not exclusively doing 'manly' things, but rather it expresses a deeper process of what Jung referred to as the individuation process. This type of men's work could then be classified as spiritual or soul work.

it supports men in living their dharma and achieving their dreams.

This is what I would pray for myself...and for my children.

It is an honour to serve beside the .man team and help empower individuals to find their harmony and accomplish their mission in life.

1. Energy Medicine Clinic

- My Energetic medicine clinic is my personal multidisciplinary approach to Holistic medicine and coaching. In essence, I am here to empower individuals to find mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual harmony and achieve their dreams and overcome imbalances (illness).

- The primary way I work with individuals in my Energy Medicine clinic to gather information through assessments and create a treatment care plan that utilizes my training in Clinical Breathwork, Traditional and Shamanic Chinese Energy Medicine, Holistic Medicine, Qigong, Body and Energy, and Yoga - to name a few.

Future Training:

- continuing Shamanic Energy Medicine Masters, Advancing Holistic Medicine with Paul Chek, and Thai Massage training

2. Wuji

- I created my own Internal art that harmonizes Yoga and Qigong ... I will be and am offering Wuji classes, online, in-person, and at events such as festivals and workshops

Future Training:

- Qigong, Neigong and Neidan, Yoga Teacher Trainings, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing, Dance

- There is possibility of creating a training program where I will teach Wuji to others... right now I'm in the system building phase

3. Alignment Coaching (AC)

Once again offering energy to my mission to empower individuals to find harmony and achieve their dreams AC aims to empower individuals to find their highest level of alignment with their dharma, values, and the life that is most representative of their highest excitement and liberated consciousness. My program focuses on inner work, internal arts practices, and learning universals principles and ancient wisdom traditions such as Taoism, Medicine wheel teachings, and Classical Yoga.

4. Aya Aum Method (AAM) (tenative name)

AAM can be thought of as the child of the previous three pillars. I'm still in the early stages in creating a program that in essence teaches others to do what I do in my Energy Medicine clinic and with holistic coaching. I desire to weave several systems of Breathwork, Qigong, Holistic Medicine and Coaching into a coherent and complete system of medicine and spirituality. Teaching individuals how to do comprehensive body, mind, and energy assessments, make energy medicine treatment plans, evaluate progress, and prescribe meditations and qigong/yoga exercises like doctors prescribe medicine.... think shamanic Dr's.

Future Learnings:

Shamanic apprenticeships, vocal lessons, 10,000 more hours of practice and helping others.

Healing at the Root Cause Worksheet

Hello, everyone... I've created a worksheet you can use to help you to determine the root cause of imbalances in the body and pathways to heal them. This is a skeleton worksheet without full explanations, so some of the questions may not make sense to you, or be relevant for your imbalance. Down the line I'll make another worksheet explaining why I ask all the questions. I do my best to make my holistic medicine and holistic coaching worksheets reasonably short so they are digestible for my clients! If you would like this as a word document, DM me your email. PS: I use the term imbalance throughout instead of disease or condition. I'm not entirely against the idea of naming a disease, but it can negative to get a diagnosis of a 'disease' which can latch itself onto the mind as a belief-structure which can prevent a person from healing. The Traditional Chinese way was to assess condition's in terms of their specific physical and energetic imbalances.

What patterns can you identify (mentally-emotionally) that are related to your imbalance and when did they first show up in your life (often in childhood)?

Identify your dream for this life, then identify the primary challenges in pursuing this dream…identify them in terms of belief structures and assess for correlations.

Emotional Assessment:

What aspects of you are not finding their full expression?

Do you find it hard to experience, or conversely, are you frequently experiencing any of the following 5 negative emotions: anger, anxiety, worry, sadness, or fear.

Energetic Assessment:

Practice filling your breath from your lower belly to your upper chest (like filling a glass of water). Determine where the breath feels blocked and resistance to move into. This may be experienced as discomfort, numbness, or just an inability to breathe into certain parts of the body. It may be helpful to rest your hands on your body or to gently palpate the body.

Write here any observations you have made where your breath may be blocked.

Write some more observations on the quality and the experience of breathing.
Write here any other energetic observations you notice in your system.

What is the nature of the imbalance?

Signs:

Can then imbalance be treated with yin and yang theory of finding harmony by balancing opposites. If an area is inflamed and hot, can it be cooled? If an area is weak, can it be strengthened? etc.

Symptoms:

Which organ systems are affected?
Does the organ need purging (detoxing), tonifying (strengthening), and/or regulating (balancing) of its energy.

History of the imbalance:

What is the history of the imbalance? If there was a specific traumatic event that caused the imbalance, please describe.
If the event is traumatic in nature, I recommend working with myself or another trauma-trained professional who can help support you in releasing the trauma from the system.

Mental Assessments

What mental-emotional stressors were co-occurring at the time you first noticed the imbalance or experienced the injury/trauma?

This question can help an individual identify the root cause of the mental-emotionally imbalance as it relates to the underlying belief structures and emotions that causing or correlated with the imbalance. Further work to clear the belief structures and emotions is advised…please read on for further information.

What are the dominant themes you are currently experiencing and exploring in your life?

How does this imbalance define you as a person, and who would you be without the imbalance or condition?
Take the time to write your disempowered story of who you are as a victim of this imbalance… this is your woe is me story. Then write your empowered story of who you are as you heal this imbalance and align with your dream affirmative life, values, and beliefs.

What secondary gains do you receive as a function of maintaining this imbalance?

I prefer the following exercise as a guided meditation, which is something I offer, but for the purpose of this worksheet I’ll describe how it can be done through journaling. For this exercise, write out all of the negatives associated with your imbalance, then write out all the positives. It is most often the case individuals will find themselves subconsciously biased towards one polarity, the more we neutralize the positive and negative by seeing things from both perspectives, the more wisdom we will glean from the experience, which will help to heal from the imbalance.

What patterns can you identify (mentally-emotionally) that are related to your imbalance and when did they first show up in your life (often in childhood)?

I recommend working with myself or another trained therapist or counselor who can help guide you to psychotherapeutically revisit these memories.

Identify your dream for this life, then identify the primary challenges in pursuing this dream…identify them in terms of belief structures and assess for correlations.

In brevity, identify the old belief structures and associated negative emotions that fuel them, and create positive, dream-affirmative beliefs.

Emotional Assessment:

What aspects of you are not finding their full expression?

Identify what areas you’d like to step into, it may help to work with a coaching such as myself, or another professional who can help you to identify shadow aspects you may not be seeing. (an example of aspects that are often not finding full expression: creative, sexual, vocal, and emotional).

Do you find it hard to experience, or conversely, are you frequently experiencing any of the following 5 negative emotions: anger, anxiety, worry, sadness, or fear.

On your own, it can be effective to practice any number of emotional release techniques (ex. Breathwork, Qigong 6 healing sounds, dance, etc). Though, if the imbalance is related to deep seated subconscious patterns it is often prudent to work with a trained professional, or to be supported in some way, such as attending a ceremony.

Energetic Assessment:

Dearest Beloved,

- One day you’ll read these love letters…

They are all pieces of our story, and I’m here putting the puzzle pieces of my life together to weave the tapestry of our vision.

I’m planting seeds each day, and OH my Buddha! wouldn’t you know it… a dear friend dropped 3 large plants at my window today. We are so blessed to be a part of our community.

Reflecting today, I realized what I needed to order in order to be consistently ready to be ready for you.

Most importantly, I needed to align myself with myself. And as the two lives I thought I was living came into one harmony, the puzzle pieces of my life fell into place…because we know it is no mystery when the law of dharma does as dharma does.



The seeds of relationship:

1. SELF
2. Work
3. Community

The seed of SELF

The SELF contains 3 aspects:

- Heaven
- Heart
- Earth

Without my taproot reaching down into the depths, what grounds would I have offering fruit to the sky? The fruit would surely fall short of its full plump nature - never reaching full expression.
The heart of Self is known by many names, but recognized only by the ONE. The energy of the ONE drums the heart and its rhythm rings true and harmonious, cultivating the being of the individual in accordance with the will of the ONE. When thought, speech, and action flow with the universal pulse, the True Nature of the individual is revealed with organic, authentic, or****ic, at times giggly, or flamboyant, outrageous, courageous, mirthful, and full or splendor.

AH, yes.

How to cultivate the system and rewire the acquired mind and personality into alignment with the True Nature:

1. Singing
2. Dancing
3. Telling Stories

Singing because the life pulse of the True Self has a unique perspective and a valued expression…The song of the heart will cleanse the emotional body and activate one’s true voice.

The ecstatic dance of the ONE will effectively reprogram the rigid patterns of stress and artificiality from the system.

The story written by the ONE, will reprogram the DNA.

To know the SELF is to know the home of the self lives in the heart … and rests in the place between heaven and earth. Enlightenment is not in the far future, to be attained after many lifetimes or after death. It is Here, Now.

At first mountains are mountains…then mountains are no longer mountains, then again…mountains become mountains.

Your body is the earth. See your rivers run pure and clean. Watch your stars shoot upon dimly lit skies.

- Mission
- Abundance

The highest purpose of any being is to BE. The unconditional love that IS asks nothing more of you. The greatest gift you can offer anyone is the authenticity and depth of your being.

Your mission is an ever-evolving conversation with the ever-changing times of the wild wild world. Be a savior, or a soldier, an artist or a vagabond. To whatever you do, without utmost devotion.
How can a man foster a wife and family without the recognition of his eternal abundance? If a man does not fully know his divine inheritance, he is living from the words of lesser men. Each man is given exactly what he needs when he needs it. Each man has the opportunity to rise into the architecture of existence and know the True Nature of what is evident in ever-growing flowers in spring, or the birthing of newborns…the universe is an eternally-unfolding and expanding place of abundance…when man aligns his mind with the forces of heaven and earth, all things are taken care of.



The seed of Community

- Family
- Friends
- Groups

The recognition of the ONE implies the many. Though there are many, they are all one.

In the early days of sewing the seeds of partnership I was too focused on finances. Myopic I was. How could I have missed the forest for the trees? Now, I have become joyful with the knowing that I live in a jungle of co-creative and symbiotic trees and plant, and lots of mushrooms too. A lot of my friends are certainty mushrooms.

Like the earth below, community is the grounds for growing.



With the pieces in place, I can be curiously waiting, and passionately cultivating.

The life I live is one of:

- Practice
- Service
- Ceremony
- Art/play

Life is a practice…not a perfection. Every moment I am practicing something! In some sense, I am uncommitted to any one practice, it is not aligned with my design, so I flow with inspiration through the many flavors of the times.

As a servant of the ONE, service is splendor. It is not diminutive to be a servant, the ego functions best in this way.

Ceremony and practice are organizing processes. Because I have offered my life to sprit, everything else flows from there…and to the degree I can keep to my word and intention, everything is as it should be.

Life is art. Singing, dancing, and telling stories. All kinds of stories.

Love stories!

For as long as I can remember I can trace a thread of this tapestry I am weaving in the remembering that I love love stories. At times I have turned a shy eye at my romantic nature, perhaps it is too idealistic, or not masculine enough…or not spiritual enough…
bo****ks.

I cannot deny the Truth that is the evidence of my lived experience. The writing of this love story has been the missing piece I have been resisting and neglecting for years…because I have been resisting and neglecting love! Ironic how that works.

Derp.

Love is the missing piece. The guiding force that has helped me to organize my life so that I now have a home for you to come to where you will be safe and held. Love helped me to move forward beyond my childhish archetypes of sabotage, victim, and prostitute…and now I’m like, “about time I grew up!’ All in divine timing.

Double derp.

The force of love was not working alone…your silent whispers from places unknown have been guiding me too. You have to be crazy to be in love. It is irrational. And yet, to follow the way of love is the best decision you’ll ever make…wherever it may take you.

And so, I walk forward with each step and breath – mindful of my prayer

Surrendering into the path that I cannot know

Forgive me when lose my way in fear

I will come back to love, again and again

Saying I’m sorry
I ask for your forgiveness
I thank you
I love you

Again and again
Fracture and repair…till the two become ONE

I don’t expect to make it out of this one alive

So I go all in with everything on the line because anything less is second best

Clear: limiting beliefs and blocked emotion

Write out any internal or external limiting factors to taking steps forward in your dream. If you can, brainstorm solutions.

Ex. I don’t have enough money.

a) “I don’t have enough money” is a limiting belief. I always have what I need when I need.

b) How much money do I require to move forward with my next step? What are the possible ways this money could come to me?

c) When exploring my perceived lack of money, what happens in my body and breath? Do any areas tighten or feel held? What practices can I do to help clear this stuck energy from my system?

d) I choose to trust the process.

Develop your Why

How do you want to feel while pursuing your mission and following your dreams (list 1-5 qualities)?

Developing your why is an essential step in manifesting your desires. Developing your why involves cultivating your mind in the direction you want it with emotion as the fuel. This is the part of the formula where I invite individuals to get into their breath and body. While staying connecting to your dreams, practice yoga, dance, sing, write poetry, and do what you need to raise your frequency and charge yourself up. I recommend to practice for 20 to 90 minutes. Then go about your day following the 4-step formula to the best of your abilities.

The 4 Step Formula

1. Act on your greatest love

Take time in your life to pause, check in, and orient yourself to what you love. Your greatest love will be what is most exciting to you. The magnetic and intuitive impulse will come from within. Let the feeling guide you to take whatever action (big or small, simple or complex) in the direction of what you love.

2. Release expectation

Act on your greatest love without expectation. The mind may crave a certain outcome, let your visualization go, and the way you think you want it, and trust the universe to deliver what is a vibrational match to the energy you are emitting. The law of attraction is always responding to your vibration, so focus on how you feel. Allow yourself to follow what you love for the shear fact that it is what you love, and you’re being guided by it. Follow your love without hesitation.
3. Stay in a regulated, positive, and receptive state

Hesitation generally indicates fear or some blocked emotion or limiting belief. Use the slogan ‘circumstances don’t matter, only your state matters…what state do you prefer to be in?”. Utilize movement, breathwork, and meditation practices throughout your day to regulate your nervous system, to clear negative emotion and shift into positivity. Further, use gratitude to put yourself in a receptive state – instead of focusing on what you don’t have, focus on the abundance of what is already here.
4. Clear limiting beliefs as they arise

As you walk the path of following your dreams, continue to stay present with your emotional state as a guidance system of whether you’re on the right track. Follow the highest vibrational thoughts and feelings. If negative emotions arise, assess the fundamental beliefs you’re operating in to feel as you are and rewrite the scripts of your life to empower you and align you with the destiny you want to walk.

Clearing Limiting Beliefs and Negative Emotions

Your beliefs are the fundamental axioms that determine your decisions and influence your perceptions. Your beliefs influence your thoughts, which attract your emotions, which affect your body. As you clarify your purpose, dreams, and goals in life you will see with greater clarity which beliefs you hold that are out of alignment with that which you desire. For example, if it is your desire to run your own business, travel the world, and have a husband/wife and children. Your mind may become excited at the potential of all this happening, and indeed it can, but soon enough the ‘reality’ of your current belief systems will often take center stage and it may remind you that you don’t have enough money, skills, or the level-headedness to achieve all that you desire!

But is it true?

Is that the actual reality? As an empowered creator of your universe, you get to decide.

Taking control of destiny.

Most people in society let circumstances dictate their destiny. They don’t follow what they truly love because of a laundry list of stories they hold about the universe.

“I’m this way and I can’t change because ….. I’m a Leo, it’s my genetics, it’s ALWAYS been this way, that’s not how reality works, the government is corrupt, etc…..”

Though there is validity in many of those responses, how are they helping you to overcome your challenges and move you forward towards your dreams. Our problems are not outside of ourselves and until we are willing to take responsibility for what we are consciously and unconsciously creating, we cannot walk the path of our true potential.

If you take control of your life force energy, destiny is in your hands.

What do I mean by life force energy?

Your breath.
Your Qi.
Your Prana.
Your mind.
Your beliefs.
Your body.
Your choices.
The shift is one from moving out of reactivity and victimization, into responsibility and empowerment. The change is one of moving from being in the child archetypes versus being an adult.

The child says “I have to..”

The adult says “I choose to…”

You get to choose to follow your dreams and to determine the fundamental axioms that you live by. As I mentioned, the more time you spend developing and clarifying your dreams, the clearer it becomes which beliefs are out of alignment with your path to fulfilling your goals.

How does one clear limiting beliefs?

There are countless methods, tools, and meditations to clear limiting beliefs, but let me divide them into two categories: top-down and bottoms-up or cognitive approaches and energetic and body-based approaches.

Top-down – Cognitive approaches:

In a cognitive or mental approach to clearing limiting beliefs you use reasoning, contemplation, and introspection. Take the following example:

1. “I would like to start a new business, but I don’t have enough money”

a. The limiting belief is that the individual does not believe they have enough money

2. Why do they believe this?

a. They don’t currently have the money in their bank account
b. They don’t currently know how they would make the money to achieve their goal
c. In the past they haven’t made lots of money, so they assume past patterns predict future behaviors
d. Their parents never had what they defined as ‘copious amounts of money’
e. Their friends don’t have ‘copious amounts of money’

You see how our beliefs are influenced as a reaction to what is currently going on for us from our peers, and society….as well as from the past, particularly from our early childhood. It is important to understand that most our deeply ingrained axioms we hold are inherited from others and are disempowering.

Yet, there are plenty of examples of people who have made copious amounts of money in a short time. But it is hard for most people to see this if they hold a limiting belief because limiting beliefs are negative and they attract negative emotions. In the above example, this individual perceived that they did not grow up with a lot of money, so their concept of money has become tainted with negative emotion from their early childhood, and they are still holding onto these negative emotions and negative beliefs which are influencing their current behavior.

Self-replicating beliefs

A belief is a thought attached to a feeling that keeps repeating itself. It is a story we live by. This is true for negative and positive beliefs. So then, once a belief is laid down, like the above beliefs the individual holds about money, the thought and feeling will continue to replicate itself in a pattern which will reinforce itself through external circumstances. Every time the individual gets triggered about not having enough it will bring up the negative emotion they experienced as they were a child, and every other time they felt that same way which will more deeply ingrain that belief as ‘true’.

If an individual wants to break the cycle, they have to be willing to step outside this belief and take the empowered position to write a new belief. To write a new belief, they must become a new person, because the old belief is tied to an old personality – an old remnants from childhood-. This new person has a new way of seeing and moving through the world which gives rise to new choice and action. The new belief should not be a limiting one, but one that is in harmony with universal principles (see Arnold Patent’s Universal Principles). For example, a positive belief to have about money is that “I have everything I need, when I need it”. This belief is True, and it can be affirmed at any time regardless of how much money you have, because you always have everything you need when you need. It’s not affirming something like “I have a million dollars”, when you don’t have a million dollars. You always have everything you need, and when you place your FOCUS on what you already have and feel it is enough, you immediately shift your mind into the abundance of what you do have (positive), instead of focusing on what you don’t have (negative).

Vibrations and manifestations

As I mentioned, your beliefs are thoughts attached to feelings that are self-replicating. In this way, we can understand them as thought-forms with a certain vibrational frequency or signature. Because limiting beliefs are negative in nature, they will have a negative charge. As you go through the process of aligning with your dream, your limiting beliefs will come up and will be experienced as negatively charged frequencies which will be experienced as negative emotions. So, part of your process is to use your cognitive capacity to understand what the negative belief is and to write a new one that is in alignment with your dreams and universal principles. The other part of the process is the bottoms-up work we do with the body and emotions to release the negative charge and create positive energy and ingrain new empowered beliefs.

Bottoms-up: Energy work

Energy work as I’m using it here refers to the purging of negative energy, the tonifying of adding of positive energy, and the regulating or balancing of the energy system. The 3-step process of purge, tonify, and regulate is the basis of Qigong energy healing practices. In regard to clearing limiting beliefs, as I mentioned limiting beliefs when they become conscious will manifest as negative emotions, which will have a felt-sense in your body ei. A location and a particular sensation. From here there are countless ways of moving this negative energy out of the system.

Here are a few examples:

1. Qigong
2. Breathwork
3. Dance
4. Yoga
5. Martial Arts
6. Nature walks
7. Cold exposure
8. Singing

The idea is to move your body, work with your breath and your intention to get the area of negative energy (which is often felt as stuck, stagnant, guarded, or chaotic energy) to in a sense flush out the system. It is beyond the scope of this article to go into a detailed account of moving the energy because of how varied and specific the process can be…but, in general, the sensations and emotions must be felt, healing is feeling. The exhale is used to discharge and purge, which may be coupled with vigorous movement, shaking, sweeping, or other techniques. The inhale is used to tonify, to reconnect, to deepen toward one’s center. And slowing down, resting, relaxing, and becoming still is used to regulate and allowing the energetic system to rewire the old belief out and the new belief in.

Further, it is not always necessary to do the top-down work before doing the bottoms-up work. Sometimes just dancing for 1 hour is enough to clear any fears, doubts, worries, and obstacles and put you in a positive state which will attract positive thoughts. However, I like to teach individuals how to understand their energetic system in a developed way so that they can apply techniques with precision to target any belief that presents an obstacle of their path of achieving their dreams and potential. This is why my holistic alignment coaching system is a comprehensive scaffolding to identify the key dimensions of your life where you hold fundamental axioms so you can understand your beliefs and write them in alignment with your dreams.

What I recommend individuals to do is to write out their goals and dreams, then identify all the limiting beliefs and barriers. Then to work with each one of the belief systems to rewrite the new script of their life. Simply writing it down is often not enough to clear the limiting belief, but it directs the mind in the right direction so that when a circumstance comes up there will then be an opportunity for you to CHOOSE to follow your old belief or your new one, which is when the negative emotion will typically arise and knowing energetic practices like Qigong can be done potentially on the spot. This is why I teach my coaching clients Qigong and energetic practices like breathwork. Then you can carry your dreams with you with every step and breath and be equipped with the inner tools to clear the obstacles you have, then nothing can stop you from achieving your destiny…because your destiny is in your hands.

Summary:

If you’re on the path of achieving your dreams and your potential it is part of the process to identify limiting beliefs that are perceived obstacles on your way. When you understand that your beliefs are thoughts attached to feelings, you know that they are merely energy you are carrying which can be changed and transformed. So then, if you identify limiting beliefs out of alignment with your dreams, you have an opportunity to rewrite the script of your life. You can clear the limiting belief by getting to know it, and seeing how it is false, then by clearing the energy of it from your system using bottoms-up energy work practices. In this way, you will develop self-mastery and resilience. As you continue to do this, your inner will and empowerment will grow as will your potential and the clarity of your dreams. The more you take part in this process, the more you take control of your life force energy and put destiny in your hands.
