While out on a walk with Grant and M I was telling him all about the wonderful workshop I attended recently with and that I needed a feather as part of my smudge stick kit. I shared that rather than looking for one, one will find me. As I finished my story, Grant pointed to the side of the path where a feather was lying waiting for me.

YOGA WORKSHOP

The Vagus Nerve is a complex and powerful nerve in the body. It runs from the brain, through the body and ends as a ball of nerve endings in the stomach. It is also known as the wandering nerve.

By stimulating the Vagus Nerve we can help our body to come into its 'relaxation response.'
Having a high vagal tone is linked to physical and psychological wellbeing. It is associated with better health, resilience and sustained attention however, low vagal tone can present as anxiety and depression.

Join me in the beautiful setting of The Sanctuary to learn more about this fascinating nerve as we breathe, meditate, chant and move our bodies. By the end of this session, you will come away knowing more about of the Vagus Nerve and tips and tricks you can implement into your life to tone your Vagal Nerve.

Herbal teas and homemade snacks available during a short break. Each person will receive their own little gift bag to take away.

Yin Yoga is a slower style of yoga that provides a great opportunity to turn inwards. It targets the deeper connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. In yin yoga we work with Chi (energy) that runs through the body in invisible pathways called the Meridians.

Life has been absolute madness recently. You honestly couldn't make it up. We've all not long recovered from covid and then this week I get tonsillitis and M gets chickenpox.

Apologies again for cancelled classes this week and thank you all for your lovely messages.

Im starting to feel a lot better now thankfully. I'm off to rest in the bath and have an early night so I can wake up healthy and fresh to attend our friends wedding. 🤞❤

I will be in touch with everyone this weekend about refunds etc.
