I find that working as a heath coach people think I’ve got it all together: do all my workouts, keep healthy with my nutrition ect.. same with being a yoga instructor, thinking we get all our yoga sessions in, never stress out, always zen... but it’s not true, as professional coaches/teachers/guides, we Are human too and don’t always have put together. Sometimes I fall in to that mind set of having to be perfection and having to do so for my clients. But that’s not fair to myself or my clients. There’s no such thing! I am no different than anyone else: I still have stress and get emotional and miss workouts, sometimes more than I want, I cheat and eat bad food...but it’s how I navigate all that and mostly stay on track that matters. I’m posting this because I know sometimes people can get stuck thinking well she’s a health coach so she’s always good and got it together and that affects your mindset and success and self image. I’m here to say I’m not perfect and Im just like you! Only difference is I have a certification for my coaching and teaching and I guide others. But I still have my struggles. Remember to not judge or compare yourself to others, I’ve done it, it’s not healthy. Only compare yourself to yourself from point A to point B. This picture here is after a one month program I did and I still have progress to make but I’m happy with this progress! I lost 4 pounds, 4 inches on my waist and 5 inches on my lower abdomen!! outside of the program, In general, overall I do well but I haven’t been consistent like id like to. My biggest thing is not cheating on eating corn and gluten-bad for my body. Some cheat days are fine but not like what I was doing. So want to post for all of you, even though I’m a coach I was having my challenges too! But celebrating my success and reminding you I know what you are feeling if you’re wanting to make a change in your Health but feel like you’re not where you want to be. Remember us coaches are like you, we aren’t perfect. If you think you can benefit from having a coach I’d love to help you!
