Don't forget to register your interest in next weeks 'Caring for Elderly relatives' talk at Sonning Common Village Hall. It will look at how best to prepare for an increase in medical and financial help for either your relatives or yourself as you get older.

We would like to invite you to join us for our next health information event. Next month we will be discussing how to prepare for changes in later life and how best to plan for the future. It will be suitable for those thinking about helping relatives plan as well as planning for your own future as you get older.

You are invited to join us for our next health information event on how to plan for the future in elderly relatives (or even for yourself). You can never start planning too early. This event will help you to learn what needs to be planned and what is available to help you and your family achieve it in a caring and sensitive way.

Thanks to Claire Burnett, Lead Nurse for Sepsis and Deterioration Quality Governance Team at RBH, for a very informative and entertaining talk "All about Sepsis".

The talk will be available within days on the PPG page of the SCHC website.

SCHC PPG AGM on Tuesday, February 25th at 2pm

All patients of Sonning Common Health Centre are invited to attend, by Zoom, the AGM of the SCHC Patient Participation Group (the PPG) being held on Tuesday 25th February, 2025 at 2 p.m.

The AGM is scheduled to last 30 minutes and will include an update from the health centre given by Dr Tom Rockell and information on past and planned PPG activities by Vicky Mynott, the PPG Chair.

The next Oxfordshire AgeUK Community coffee morning "The Hive", is early in the New Year on Thursday 2nd, January in Sonning Common Village Hall. This is a super opportunity to chat to old and new friends and speak to various local support workers and volunteers. Full details and dates for the next 6 months are in the poster. All are welcome so please share the details with your friends.
