Hi! 👋 Amanda here.. I am so excited to finally make this FB official!! Please read ❤️🙏❤️

In January of last year, God orchestrated my kidney donation to Vonchelle Webb Knight. 💞 It was awesome and a journey I will never forget. However, as most of you know, her transplant ultimately failed. I remember pulling over when I found out and uncontrollably sobbing in my car. I cried out to God, “How could you call me to something this big and allow it to fail?” I was lost, confused and heartbroken.

Over the next few months, God held me tightly and planted a seed in me to form a nonprofit to connect those on the kidney waitlist to potential donors. I began to wonder, “What if God’s plan was bigger than I could have ever imagined on my own?’ When I trust Him, I don’t need to understand.

I knew NOTHING about starting a nonprofit. I was completely clueless but wholeheartedly willing. Door after door was opened and Kidneydonormatch.org was born. It was founded on the belief that we are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves- Matthew 22:39. This includes everyone. Not just our friends or family but strangers.

Our site will help those in kidney failure find their life-saving kidney donor while educating others on living kidney donation. There are 100,000 people waiting right now on a life-saving kidney yet nowhere for them to go to tell their personal story of kidney failure to be matched with potential donors.

As humans, we love stories and we were designed that way from the beginning. Jesus often spoke in parables. Stories have a unique ability to build connections and that’s what we aim to do through kidneydonormatch.org. After all, it was God using a special woman’s story that led me to donate.

Thank you to my board and officers, Rachael Schulman, Morgan Cotton and Lauren Larrison. And a HUGE thank you to Ryan Burton and his amazing team for building an incredible website and Rob Bexley for being a fantastic attorney and quickly setting us up as an OFFICIAL 501(c)3! Every single person has been a personal answer to prayer.

Please like Kidney Donor Match on FB, check out our site and keep a look out for our official launch party in March! 💚💚

We are passionate about connecting recipients to their life saving kidney donors.

This is Dan of Duluth, Georgia and he is 58 years old. Dan is a family man. He loves his family very much and wants to be healthy enough to provide for them again. He loves to spend his time in prayer and loves to be at church.

He found out he had Membranous Glomerulonephritis (MGN) when he was just thirty years old which ended up causing him to go into kidney failure. He was on dialysis for 4 years and then received a kidney transplant in 2001. That transplant lasted 11 years. For the past 7 years, he has been on dialysis and has been battling numerous health issues.

Dan’s blood type is O. Although this blood type can give to any other blood type, they can only receive from other O blood type patients. If you would like to begin the process to see if you’re a match, contact his his pre-transplant coordinator, Denise Neal at Emory- 855-366-7989.

Even if you don’t feel led to share your spare, please share this post. Your share could be the one to reach his life saving kidney donor.

Could you imagine having NO physical symptoms and finding out at a regular check up that you are in end stage kidney failure? Imagine you are in the prime of your life with a thriving career and newly married, when this news stops you dead in your tracks.

This is Prashant, a 32 year old attorney. He has a long life to live and many memories to build. During a regular check up in June 2019, Prashant was told that he is at end stage renal failure and that his kidneys are functioning at less than 10%. Given that he had no physical symptoms, this news came as a complete shock and has changed his life completely. From being a young attorney, working full time, spending weekends with his wife and family, his life now revolves around daily sessions of dialysis to save his life. Doctors have told him that he would need a transplant ASAP and ideally within the next 6-12 months or he will have long lasting side effects from dialysis.

An ideal match for Prashant will be someone with blood group B or O. However, even if not a perfect match, you can do a paired donation (where Prashant and his donor can be matched with another patient / donor pair). For more information, please reach out to Prashant and his family at prashantprav@gmail.com.

If you would like to reach out to his transplant coordinator, her details are below:

Rachel Doll – Kovler Organ Transplantation Center
Email: Rachel.doll@nm.org
Phone No. 312-695-0828
Please reference your request by naming: Prashant Praveen; Date of Birth: 12/15/1986

Please like and share. Yours could be the one to save this young man's life!

This is Angelina Lopez. She is 19 years old and lives in Cairo, Georgia. She is a recent graduate but too physically drained to work at this point in her life.

Two years ago, Angelina learned that she had end stage kidney disease. Angelina suffers from lupus which can have detrimental effects on the kidneys. Lupus nephritis causes inflammation (swelling or scarring) of the small blood vessels that filter wastes in your kidney and can sometimes attack them like your body would attack a disease.

Angelina’s blood type is O. If you would like to learn more about donating to Angelina, please contact her transplant coordinator at Piedmont Hospital, Julie Pfeiffer, at 404-605-2950.

Even if you don’t feel led to , please share this post! Yours could be the one to reach her life-saving kidney donor.

This beautiful girl is Nelli Palchevskaya from Atlanta, Georgia and she is only 22 years old. She was a normal, healthy and active girl growing up. However, after a visit to the emergency room on January 2015, she found out both kidneys had failed and she was in end stage renal failure. If not for the accidental visit to the emergency room that day, she could have died within a week.

At that point, she was told she needed a kidney transplant as soon as possible and was placed on the kidney waitlist. She immediately began dialysis to keep her alive. Over the next four years, Nelli underwent various surgeries with the only solution left being a kidney transplant.

Nelli can receive a kidney from both B+ or O blood type. Even if you are not a match, you can donate through a paired kidney exchange (where you are both entered as a 'pair' to be matched with another 'pair').

If you would like to start the donation process, please call 1-855-EMORYTX (366-7989) and register for an interview. This interview includes a medical screening to determine if you are healthy enough to begin the donation process.

Information needed to register:
Name: Nelli Palchevskaya
(DOB) 08/25/1996

Please share! Yours could be the share to save Nelli's life.
