At Advance for Kids, we strive to provide quality care in a collaborative manner. We attempt to maintain the highest level of medical proficiency while still providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for the children and their families. It is our goal to help the children in this community to be as independent and productive as possible as they grow and become contributing members in society. We keep optimistic attitudes and believe that each child can and will make progress under our care. Each employee brings special skills and personality to the team which helps us achieve our goals. We always welcome new ideas and strong commitments to the work that we do.

This little company has just grown into something really big. I’m so proud to be able to say that I raised it up from the ground starting in 2003 and now 21 years later, I am passing it on to my friends at Activekidz Therapy Services/Activekidz & Adult Therapy. Don’t worry things are still running as usual at the clinics. 😃 Looking forward to watching what the future holds. I’m stepping into semi-retirement. Thank you guys so much for a great run. I have loved being an OT in this capacity and being at the head of this company. It has brought me so much joy. My focus now will turn to my family and slowing down a bit. 💕

Happy 21st Anniversary to AFK! 💕🎉

I’m a far cry from the young 27 year old that started this company. The hair is graying and the glasses are needed, but we’re STILL here. Gratitude is all I can think about. Grateful that God chose this path for me…for us (I’m talking about each of you that have worked here, received services, or had any part of AFK). Grateful that he put us in each other’s lives. It matters. And it has changed me for the better.

Having a small business in healthcare is no easy task. It can be brutal but also so rewarding. I never wanted to be a business owner. Who in their right mind would sign up for this? Apparently me. But not because I wanted to. I did it out of obedience to my calling to serve others.

No one can know what lies ahead in their future. I certainly didn’t know I would be in this place 21 years later. But God knew & I’m GRATEFUL.

Thank you to everyone that supports us & believes that we make a difference. Thank you for believing in that young 27 year old…
