You are what you Consistently do. ✨

Need to make changes in your life?

Making changes can be hard. Finding new routines can be hard.

Sticking to them can be harder. You have to work for it.

Starting slow, adding a small task in each day and building off of that, once you have become consistent.

As soon as you create CONSISTENCY the change gets easier, it becomes a habit, and then your lifestyle.

Simple 3 Ingredient Salsa Chicken Recipe

This slow cooker meal is great for those busy mom days or when you want to meal prep for the week. Makes plenty for multiple meals and kids even love it!

4 Chicken breast
½ packet of low sodium taco seasoning (though you could use a whole packet if you prefer!)
½ - ¾ jar of Salsa - pick your desired heat level.

Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray.
Place chicken in the bottom of the pot.
Evenly sprinkle as much Taco seasoning as you want.

Add salsa overtop of seasoning and chicken.
Cook on low 4 - 6 hours, high 2 - 3 hours, or until chicken comes to proper temperature and can shred real easily. (I have been getting really good results at 4 ½ hours on low.)
Once the chicken is cooked through, use two forks to shred the chicken, and stir well to incorporate all the salsa and seasoning with the chicken shreds.

With everything else in life Happiness is something to work for. Everyday.
Happiness is a decision you make.
You can be happy and feel all kinds of other emotions at the same time. It is not a stand alone feeling that comes without trying.

Create happiness.
Enjoy the small things.
Go for a walk.
Listen to the birds. Feel the warmth of the sun. Soak in a genuine smile, a belly laugh, a moment of peace.

You deserve happiness. Make the choice to smile.

Help yourself feel happy by thinking positively and moving your body. Increase your heart rate and fill your body up with endorphins with exercise. Concentrate on what you can control in your life and how you can help others. -All choices you can make.

You don’t have to be fit to find fitness.
We all start somewhere, and that is what we have to remind ourselves.
If you want to be healthy, then start taking the steps to being healthy.
Be consistent in thinking and acting positive.
Be consistent in eating to fuel your body right.
Our journeys continue everyday and if being healthier makes that journey easier then why wouldn’t you take that path?
