Hello! My name is Shannon Matheson. I am a licensed nurse with additional foot care training through Foot Care Canada. I moved to Kenora in 2014 and since then have worked in LTC, float nurse, community settings and as a nurse manager.
My passion for foot care began when I started working as a nurse in Kenora. I have always loved wound care, which in ways is very similar to foot care. Lou Swancar opened my eyes to the see the need for more foot care providers in the area and so my passion started from there.
In October 2017 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I made the decision that I wanted to go back to being a nurse but on my own terms and my own schedule to fit my new life as a mom.
I took an advanced foot care course while on leave and from here started my own business!
