DAY 1 or 1 DAY. Today I went to the gym for the first time in years. I got lazy. I made too many excuses. I forget my mission for why I created it was to honour my late brother and achieve my weight loss. I wanted to sleep in this morning but then I thought I'm never going to get to my goals with that mindset. So I got out of bed and walked in the dark and cold to the gym. I got in my workout and felt great. I'm folllwing the dumbell only workouts from using the new app and I will be documenting my on YouTube again. I hope you are all well. I'm not trying to go for a crazy transformation. Just want to get into good habits and routine again. Thanks

I came across this quote today and it helped me understand that it's ok that I'm perhaps now where I want to be on my journey. That it's not a competition. To get to the end weight loss goal as fast as possible. That this is my own journey. That I started in order to inspire others but I feel along the way I felt too much pressure to deliver on the promise to lose this weight. Comparison is the thief of joy. I remind myself today of all that I have achieved of the people I have inspired so far and that I can do this. At my pace. One day at a time. Small steps. Hope you are all well. Hope this has helped you. Let me know In comments below if this resonated with you. All the best.

Sometimes it's nice to look back at reminders when we are feeling down. Last few months have been tough as caught covid but thank God I had the vaccines as I feel they helped a lot in the recovery. Still getting back to full health but I wanted to look back at some achievements in my fitness. Thanks to for being my coach since end of last year. He has helped me through this tough time and given me support. I havnt posted in a while because I didn't know if anyone wanted to know about my journey anymore. I'm still at it. I'm still work in progress and that's ok. I will get to the finishing line but what I'm starting to realise is the finishing line can always be set again for bigger and more goals to strive for. Life is one continual progression. Thanks for all of you that still follow me. These are my running medals my first my 2 which I raised money for charity for my late brother. I'm proud of these achievements because of the mindset gave me..you can push your body past it's limit if your mind is strong and determined. It's never too late to start and it's never to late to turn the corner and trajectory of your life. Keep going everyone.
