✨️The Acu Facial✨️

Ya' ll! This is after just 7 treatments!

By stimulating specific points, facial acupuncture increases circulation, boosts collagen, and promotes relaxation, helping to reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone, and support overall well-being.

🌿 Think of it as a natural facelift with deep healing benefits!

Let's see your traditional facial yeild these results!

Normal recommendation is 10 treatments over 10 weeks.

💆‍♀️ Included is Celluma light therapy, face massage, hydrojelly mask, and collagen/stem cell serum.

🌱 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚!

As we dive into the holiday season, our immune systems can use extra support, especially when we're surrounded by crowds and colder weather.

🌿 𝒀𝒖 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒆𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒏, also known as Jade Windscreen Powder, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula designed to protect your body like a shield against seasonal illnesses.

🥷 This powerful blend strengthens your Wei Qi (defensive energy) to keep your immune system resilient. It’s especially useful during winter when colds and flu tend to spread like wildfire.

✨️ I’ve enhanced my version of this tincture by adding cordyceps, a remarkable adaptogenic mushroom.

🍄 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒚𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒔 not only boosts energy and lung function but also enhances immune activity, helping your body fight off infections and adapt to stress more effectively.

Whether you're traveling, shopping in busy stores, or attending gatherings, this combo can help keep your defenses strong.

💜 Stay healthy, stay grounded, and enjoy the season with confidence!

What are your favorite ways to support your immune system this time of year? Let me know in the comments!

For years, pain was more than just a symptom, it became a defining part of who I was. I had been labeled with so many disorders that they started to feel like letters after my name, as if they were part of my identity.

Chronic pain wasn't just something I experienced... it was who I was. The idea of letting go felt almost impossible.

What would be left of me without it? Who would I be if I wasn’t constantly managing the weight of these diagnoses? If the doctor said something was wrong with me, it must be true.

When I discovered Mind-Body Syndrome (MBS) a few years ago, I was able to see that our bodies and minds are deeply connected.

My brain had become so accustomed to pain that it kept signaling it, even when the original causes were long gone. It was like being stuck in a loop where pain became a constant companion. One that felt safer, and often times easier to hold onto than to release.

But holding onto pain because it feels familiar doesn't serve us in the long run. It keeps us trapped in a cycle of suffering. The journey to freedom began when I realized that I could choose to let go, even when it felt scary. It was about trusting that there was more to me beyond the pain, beyond the labels.

Breaking free from this cycle didn’t mean forgetting what I’d been through or pretending it never happened.

It was about acknowledging the pain, understanding it, and then gently releasing it, allowing myself to rediscover who I was without those labels defining me.

I’ve walked this path, and though it wasn’t easy, the freedom on the other side was worth every step.

“It’s all in your head”

After spending the majority of my life struggling with chronic pain, going to countless doctors,
taking more drugs than you could possibly fathom, and spending thousands and thousands of dollars on a wide variety of therapies I was told would make me better…

Not a single doctor was able to help me with my pain. NOT ONE!

I was regularly told “It’s all in your head. Here is an anti-depressant and a referral for talk
therapy” or “It's your hormones, just take birth control”. 🙄

And while some of these things helped to take the edge off…It was this suffering I experienced that became the fuel to my fire as I spent the last 18-years of my life in search of the answers, education, tools, and modalities that could not only help me
gain freedom from my own pain, but also help others do the same.

This is why I decided to become a Dr. of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, specializing in pain
management and the myofascial system.
After years of devoting myself to my studies and using myself as my own “test subject”, I finally
found what works that had doctors been able to share with me could have saved me 18 years
of pain and suffering….

It’s now my mission to help others take control of their pain so they can get their life back,
and stop being a prisoner to their condition.
To do this, I’m going to be using my social media to share more about my own journey, as well
as some of the insights, tools, and resources that have helped me.

I would greatly appreciate your support, as it will help me to be able to reach more people!

Thank you for being here.

With love,
Dr. Keely

Healthy Tissue vs. Not

What I love about cupping is the information that it provides.

The colors of the marks are a very important indicator and diagnostic tool, much like the tongue and pulse.

What's cool about the images above is the color progression.

1️⃣ The first image is less dramatic, but you can see some marks are darker than others. The darker spots show where there is more stagnation in the tissue, and the patient will likely have more pain or tenderness, especially to the touch in those ares before the cups go on. These marks will hang around a few days. The lighter ones represent healthier tissue and will fade in about 24 hrs.

2️⃣ The second image is a bit more dramatic and was taken when I first started seeing this patient. Here, you can see darker, more reddish and purple coloration. This represents more dysfunction and stagnation in the tissues. The patient was experiencing pretty intense pain at the time, which the marks show. These marks hung around almost a week.

So as cool as the dark marks might look, what's even cooler is the quick fade.

Acupuncture vs. Botox:

Acupuncture offers a holistic approach to treating wrinkles, promoting natural healing from within. Unlike Botox, which uses chemicals to temporarily paralyze muscles, acupuncture stimulates the body's own healing processes. This ancient technique not only improves skin appearance but also enhances overall wellness without the risk of side effects. Choose acupuncture for a safer, more natural way to achieve youthful, radiant skin.

Grounding myself in my favorite way, in the flowers.

The last few months have been pretty hectic, but good. Lots of goals have been checked off my list in the last few months. As things are checked off, new goals are added.

The most exciting part is that I completed my Animal Acupuncture program and am officially working on animals. .equine.acupuncture

I still have one last push of passing the nationals, which will be completed this time next year.

Scar Reduction!

I started seeing this patient in Feburary, about 52 days ago. I have seen them 5 times.

The patient broke their ankle back in September. Surgery was performed to repair it and, in the process of healing and being wrapped, developed a sore, like an ulcer, where the wrap was putting pressure. There's a lateral scar running vertically to the lateral malelous along with this larger, silver dollar size scar on the top of the foot.

Initially, we started treating for post surgery nerve damage along with some compensatory patterns affecting the other side. This has improved and almost resolved.

Now, I'm focusing more on releasing the scars via various forms of myofascial release, including needles and manual manipulation. The idea that freeing up the tissue will allow for more blood flow and faster healing to nerves and surrounding tissues.

Scars, especially ones that are stuck and are not released, can cause fascial repatterning that can cause pain in other parts of the body. Doing scar work closer to the time of injury vs. years later, can prevent pain later down the road.

You can see how, after 5 treatments, the scar has lightened up dramatically. What you can't see is how much more free moving the tissue is after releasing some of the fascial adhesions.
