Hi, I am Sarah Jayne, the founder of Second Story Reiki, a healing practice dedicated to empowering individuals through the transformative power of Reiki and intuitive coaching. At 36, my life took an unexpected turn when the sudden dissolution of my marriage, following the discovery that my husband had fallen in love with somebody else, set me on a path of profound self-discovery and healing. racing change with courage, I left my 18-year career and relocated hundreds of miles away to rebuild my life. During six months of solitude, I delved deep into Reiki and intuitive healing, forging a powerful connection with my inner self. Rather than succumbing to bitterness and self-loathing, I introspected and uncovered my own role in past relationships, fostering a newfound sense of self-awareness. My travels further enriched my journey, imparting invaluable lessons of self-love and resilience. Today, as a Reiki Master Practitioner and Intuitive Coach, I weave my personal experiences with expert training to guide others on their healing journeys. My women’s circles offer a safe and nurturing environment where women can connect, share, and grow together. At Second Story Reiki, I am devoted to helping individuals rewrite their stories, harness their inner strength, and embrace lives filled with love, purpose, and empowerment. My mission is to inspire others to heal from their past, discover their true selves, and create their own second story.

I’m over the moon to share that after nearly three years of dedicated practice, I’ve completed my Usui Reiki Master Teacher training 🙏

This part of the lifelong, learning journey concluded with 4 transformative days in a cabin in the beautiful New Forest with 3 other bright souls 🌲

We were guided by our own Master Teacher, and the beautiful light that is .reiki 🤍

There is so much more I could say but for now, I will leave it as I have such gratitude for this experience and am forever changed by it 💫

I’m not sure what is going on with the energy right now, whether it’s the solstice, some other planetary alignment, my commitment to reiki, or maybe even that I’ve not drank alcohol for 11 months but I am definitely riding some kind of energetic wave right now 💫

I am holding the pain of what is happening in the world while feeling truly grateful for my life 〰️

I seem to keep on shifting to new levels and I’m finally feeling home ✨

Only one week until my reiki teacher training and I have been ‘being’ intentionally with the energy for a while now.

🌹 The 13th Rite — Rite of the Womb 🌹

This weekend, I received a sacred transmission: the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki.

Known as the Rite of the Womb, it is a blessing of deep feminine healing, a return to safety, sovereignty, and softness within our womb space.

A remembering of the Divine Feminine, lovingly held by .we.rise.33 and Hummingbird Healing 🪷

We called on the Four Winds and the Andean archetypes, danced with each other, and shared our voices through song, story, and even a fierce shout — whoooommm!
Mama Cacao warmed our hearts as we walked the winding path toward our blessing ✨

It reminded me not to live from fear - but to create, to feel, to live from life itself.

This rite was brought forward by after a powerful vision received in ceremony with the Shipibo medicine women of the Amazon 🌱

Rooted in the tradition of plant spirit medicine and the healing songs of the jungle, it carries the strength and wisdom of an ancient lineage — offered with deep reverence and shared in the hope that it reaches far and wide.

As we shared our wishes for peace in this world, I felt something ancient awaken in me - a quiet knowing that healing ripples across time, both behind and ahead.
When we feel helpless, it starts with us.

This blessing is for all: mothers, non-mothers, those with wombs and those without.
It is a healing for the feminine within us all 💫

I carry this rite now with devotion, ready to share it when the moment is right.
🙏🏻 With gratitude in my heart.

Another month of reiki shared tonight ✨

I have felt quite strange the last couple of days, not in a bad way; just that I have been more driven than usual. So much so, that I almost didn’t join the others for reiki tonight because I was in flow and doing some other things at home…. My brain was coming up with excuses to not go.

But I knew I needed to.

And that a part of me was putting performance and productivity first, eurgh!! So, I remembered myself, and I headed out. Everything else could wait.

As soon as I walked into the room, my energy shifted and I felt like I was on a cloud all night. Bliss. Honestly. Like a beautiful trip 😍

Perfect for this Sagittarius full moon 🌝 I have a lot of Sag in my chart and it increasingly resonates as I return to myself. How are you feeling with this moon’s energy? Did you let anything go?

Our third month of cacao circle training with .we.rise.33 🕊️

And we sat with the Incan Medicine Wheel, Sacred Andean Archetypes and what it means to open a scared space.

When we take cacao, it is easy to enjoy its heart opening and feel good properties. But it is more than that. If you allow yourself, you can deepen your practice and sit with the idea that it is an ancient ritual, medicinal and even has its own spirit 🌱

We offered gifted flowers to the altar and blew our wishes into them. We cleansed each other and opened the space, called in the Four directions which create the structure of the Medicine Wheel

South 🌊

West 🌍

North 🌬️

East 🔥

We sipped our cacao and danced. Meeting each others toes and hips and Jewish belly dancing.

We meditated with the archetypes. My favourite part of the evening. My cards didn’t resonate until after the meditation. It is funny how you get cards sometimes and you want to pull others 😆 but when I opened my eyes and looked at the cards again, I almost snorted with laughter 🤭 like, ok ok… I understand! The messages were loud and clear!

I am so grateful for this journey and honour the Incas for taking their traditions up into the hills so they didn’t disappear like so many others ✨

Day 14 of self healing and a before work visit to the beach 🌞

This is the first day that I have felt my energy dip, it is likely my hormones but I am still sitting with reiki and devoting time to my practice.

We are using prompts as an invitation each day, a gentle nudge to see what comes up. As somebody who thrives when there is structure but doesn’t like the idea of it, having a gentle guide has been really welcome.

It feels like a choice rather than a must.

A beautiful day with .reiki .ellis.zenzone and reiki family 🤍

So wonderful to give and receive healing and spend the whole day in each others energy.

Sometimes these days can feel a bit wild with so many reiki folk in the same room 😝 but this weekend we all reflected on how relaxed and peaceful we felt✨

It was a joy and so lovely to spend day 11 of my 21 days of self healing with others! Self healing isn’t always something you do alone you see, we learn and grow from others and receive tools to heal ourselves.

A 10/10 day 🙏🏻🌀💫
