Did you know that anxiety is the most common mental health illness?
More than 20% of Americans have an anxiety disorder. That's almost a quarter of the population - about 42 million people.
The sad part is most people with anxiety feel alone and isolated in their struggles. Because of the stigma, not many people openly talk about their anxiety or get help. The stigma only perpetuates and worsens anxiety.
This needs to change.
I want to see more honest conversations about anxiety and mental health. Conversations about our struggles with anxiety and what you need to heal. I want you to know that you're not alone. As I've opened up more about my experiences with anxiety, so many other people have shared their experiences too.
After having anxiety for 20 years I'm committed to helping others heal anxiety by destigmatizing it through open and honest conversations, information, and resources that help.
