My client is creative and a great connector. She lives an intentional life in which she is spiritually in tune with her relationship with God and those around her. I appreciate that she values her health. When we met recently, it was great to hear that she had begun prioritizing her eating times and creating a space of peace and enjoyment. She reminded me of what I had written in her report: Sit down to eat your meals every day and chew your food slowly. Avoid watching violence on television, especially while eating.
I realize our moms told us to slow down and chew our food, which sounds like white noise. But there is value in it. When we slow down to chew our food, enzymes in our mouth help break down our food, making it easier for the rest of the digestive system to continue the process.
Do you see the rings in her eyes? These are circular grooves that run in a circular pattern around the iris. They are also called cramp, stress, contraction furrows, sensitivity, or accomplishment rings. The buckling of fibers occurs due to prolonged excessive stress and can be observed in any colored iris. They are caused by the buckling of fibers over generations and are believed to indicate a genetic tendency for Tension and stress present at birth. People with any contraction furrows located anywhere in the iris tend to lose minerals more easily than others, as minerals are depleted quickly under stress. Vacations are essential and are incredibly beneficial in reducing the stresses of everyday living.
They may tend toward neuromuscular cramping, tense muscles, and jaw clenching. Tension may aggravate colitis, tachycardia, angina pectoris, circulatory disorders, spinal subluxation, TMJ, and errors in blood sugar metabolism. It tends to create a lot of stress and feelings of being victimized by it. They are often highly diversified, motivated, ambitious, and inclined to type A behavior. They have many things going on at once. They feel they are under a great deal of Tension in life, usually of psychosomatic origin.
My client is experiencing a positive change in her digestive system. She has lost weight, and the inflammation has reduced! Yeah! This is GOOD NEWS! She has also made it a priority to do pilates and physical therapy, among other modalities. Not only is she slowing down to appreciate her food, but she also includes minerals and electrolytes. Any of my clients can tell you this is one of the key components I like to see everyone start with to have a solid foundation to support their health journey. It affects their mood, digestive system, sleep, etc.
