Developmental Disabilities Alliance The Developmental Disabilities Alliance was created to raise awareness about people with disabilities and funds for agencies with similar missions. Charles. St.

In 2015 local agencies came together to create the Hollywood Dash, in 2017 this group has decided to become an awareness group that has presence at community events to share with our community that inclusion of all members of our community makes our community stronger. The Developmental Disability Alliance's first event will be the August 9 Beale Street concert at Streets of St. The event includes

a concert, resource booths represented by each agency, and an opportunity to receive giveaways and win prizes. When: Wednesday, August 9, 2017; Agency Resource Booths: 5:00-8:30 p.m.; Concert 6:00-8:00 p.m. Where: Streets of St. Charles, South Fifth Street

Who: The Developmental Disabilities Alliance includes the following agencies that provide support and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities:
Recreation Council of Greater St. Louis
Pathways to Independence
TREE House of Greater St. Louis
Caring Solutions
Show Me Aquatics & Fitness
Community Living, Inc. Louis Life

We want to give a shout out to Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce on another great Sip & Savor event. We ran out of our giveaway bags before the event ended. Be sure to join us in celebrating the 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act by attending the 2nd annual FestAbility at the Missouri History Museum on Saturday, July 27 from 11a-6p. Stop by the DDA vendor table and say "Hi". We have a swag bag full of goodies for the first 500 people.

  After a tremendously successful first year with more than 3,000 attendees, 34 vendors, and coverage from local news networks, we're thrilled to have FestAbility: A Celebration of Disabilities return to the Missouri History Museum this summer.
