I LOVE teaching Infant Safety & CPR, Newborn Care, and Infant Feeding for .doula Helping parents & caregivers prep and build confidence as they get ready to meet their new family member is so much fun!
My family is slightly less enthusiastic about the number of dolls in our house… especially when I’m doing class prep.

Babies need to eat often and sometimes doing so in a carrier could make it SO much easier. But, for me, it did not come easy, it was not 1,2,3 despite how others made it look. It was not a tool I always felt comfortable using - and that’s okay too!

As we get into the hottest part of the summer here in Austin, these are some helpful hints for staying cool while wearing your baby.
No matter what listen to your body and keep an eye on baby for over-heating. If either of you are feeling a little too warm, find some shade, take a break, and rehydrate ☀️

Most of all though, have fun, summer can be an extra fun time with baby!
