Our Team
Dr. John Perez
Dr. John Perez completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Southern Utah University and his Doctorate of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Perez specializes in primary care and low vision. He was professionally trained at the VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC in management of the posterior segment which includes diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and vascular disease. He practices low vision which is specialty in optometry to aid individuals that have been severely impacted with reduced vision.
He trained with the top corneal specialist, James Lewis, MD, managing refractive surgeries and complex corneal cases. Dr. Perez is passionate about ocular care and is a very approachable person. He is always willing to take walk in appointments and fitting someone into schedule.
