On 26th September 2025, the Bhutan Cancer Society PCE held an exchange program with the Bhutan Cancer Society NRC. The event was graced by the Executive Director, Mr. Karma Tobgay, who gave a presentation that offered members valuable insights into the Society’s work and initiatives. As part of the program, PCE students also prepared and delivered an awareness presentation on childhood cancer, leukemia, and gynecological cancers, highlighting the importance of education and early detection. Through this exchange, members from both the college not only gained knowledge but also built stronger connections and bonds with one another.

✨ September – Cancer Awareness Month ✨

September is recognized worldwide as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, as well as Blood Cancer and Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of this cause, we came together to celebrate hope, strength, and solidarity. 🌸

🧡Our girls proudly wore orange tego and wonju, a heartfelt symbol of love and support for every brave child fighting cancer.
🎗️ The boys joined in by wearing lime green, red, and gold ribbons, each color carrying a special meaning for different cancer awareness causes.

Through these simple yet meaningful acts, we stand united to remind every warrior that they are not alone—and that together, our hope will always shine brighter than fear. 💪💫🧡

💙 Wear Blue for Colorectal Cancer Awareness! 💙

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time to emphasize the importance of early detection in saving lives. To show our solidarity, we invited every girl at our college to wear a blue tego or wongju on March 26, 2025 (Wednesday).

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, but early screening and awareness can make a life-saving difference. Let’s use this moment to reflect, spread awareness, and support those affected.

Together, we can make an impact! 💙 Looking forward to seeing our campus shine in blue!

On March 23, 2025, the Bhutan Cancer Society (PCE), in collaboration with the Norbuling Rigter college(BCS), organized a meaningful spiritual walk to Chumphu Nye. The journey was not only an opportunity for spiritual reflection and rejuvenation but also an act of environmental stewardship.

As the students made their way along the sacred trail, they actively engaged in cleaning up the surroundings by picking up litter along the path. Their efforts demonstrated a commitment to both personal well-being and the preservation of Bhutan’s pristine natural environment. The event served as a reminder of the importance of holistic healing, combining spiritual, physical, and social well-being while fostering a sense of responsibility toward nature.
