Accents of Hope Accents of Hope is my small business that I created to help supplement our income and do more of my part as a stay-at-home-mom of my sweet and rowdy son!

I really, really enjoy creating and making unique home decor-it is a passion and total addiction of mine! I started out cutting crosses in the summer of 2011 (I cut all my crosses using a jigsaw) and it has grown from there. I buy old picture frames, window frames, cabinet doors and have with my husband's help, have taken barnwood and tin from old barns to create a very one of a kind look! I sell

at craft and trade shows, as well as wholesale to local stores. I can do custom work and cut out almost anything with my saw and make anything as custom as you can imagine! I chose the name "Accents of Hope" because I want each piece I make to bring hope and inspiration to each person who owns a piece I have made. I have struggled with some health issues that have prevented me from working full time, and realizing I could make things that I really enjoy and can also help our family has very much encouraged me personally and given me a renewed hope in my abilities and my current situation! Crosses in particular are a special sign of hope because of the fact that they represent our Lord Jesus dying on the cross for us. I also try to bring hope and a new life to the architectural pieces that I repurpose because often times they were labeled as junk or trash and going to be thrown out. I take something that was old and worn and try to breathe new life and hope into it and give it a new purpose.
