Sooo new plan.... Maddie will come home tomorrow, we will go to Dallas once a week, and then surgery will be in two weeks, to give her lungs time heal from the rhinovirus

Update: she’s now ok over 2 liters of oxygen, and is finally able to rest some, her labs came back normal and her blood ...

Update: she’s now ok over 2 liters of oxygen, and is finally able to rest some, her labs came back normal and her blood gas confirms that she is in fact struggling with oxygen which to me means she’s no longer struggling with a virus it’s her body saying it’s time for surgery.
We are waiting to get orders and then she will go by helicopter back to Dallas, this is literally the scariest thing ever and it kills me I can’t make my baby better! I hate it all!! It hate that she is even having to go through all this!

Update: Maddie is home! We are being very careful and keeping her away from anyone possibly sick out of precaution! We are keeping a very very close eye on her oxygen and her turning blue! Please keep her in your prayers that we can keep her well till surgery!

Update: so far all labs have come back normal which is good, her oxygen levels are in the 80s with nasal cannula on at 1 liter but when they try to ween her down her levels drop, so they are keeping her at 1 liter for now, they said she took a good nap and is now playing with her toys which is good

Echo and EKG are done, we are more then likely getting admitted to the ICU, he doesn’t like her color or how her breathing is😭

Surgery has been postponed too April, her lab work came back and she tested positive for Rhinovirus 😭😭😭

Pre Op day is here, she has done good so far, she is currently getting labs, we have done EKG, and X RAY, it seems to be moving fast so that’s good!

Maddie Kate had her first session with PT this morning and she did so good!!! They are so impressed with how strong she is and how far she has come!!! We will have one more session before surgery time next week!

As cath lab day slowly creeps up on us, my anxiety is getting worse, I’m
So nervoussss! This time is all feeling different because she’s been home with me so long! My heart knows that God has got her, but I just hurt knowing she has to endure all this again, please be in prayer with us this week!
