Somebody needs what you carry 💗

Your voice, your gifts, your perspective, your service - it was never just for you.

We’re starting the year with a new weekly series:
This Is Your Reminder ✨

Short reminders. Same mission.
Words you might need to hear 🤍

May your favourite thing about you be your authenticity- Becoming who I am, not who I’m expected to be. Embracing myself fully and letting authenticity be my superpower🤍✨

You cannot address what you suppress - things like growth will require you to look face yourself and your past, don’t run away from the pain that is actually freedom🌱✨

A little day in the life of Mission Exhale ✨

Our first programme outside of London, delivered in Cambridgeshire. Now that the year has slowed down and we’re on a break we have a great chance to acknowledge this milestone as we continue to grow and reach new communities.

Proud of how far our work is travelling, though still small, and excited for what’s still unfolding 🤍

Shout out to our incredible assistant thank you for journeying with us. We loved having you ✨

We’re always told not to compare ourselves to other people but no one really talks about comparing ourselves to past versions of us.

This year I realised how often I was doing this. Any time things felt hard or uncertain in entrepreneurship, I’d look back at how “well” I was doing when I was employed, how stable things felt, how accomplished I seemed for my age — and I’d use that version of me as a measuring stick.

What I didn’t realise was that I wasn’t motivating myself — I was undermining myself.

Someone highlighted this to me at an event which really shifted my perspective:

Comparing yourself to who you used to be, especially when you’re in a season of growth and uncertainty, can quietly rob you of confidence.

You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re just building something different.

Growth doesn’t always look like upward momentum — sometimes it looks like courage, discomfort and patience.

Give yourself permission to honour where you are. 💛

Your assignment wasn’t given to them.
They don’t need to understand it.
Just keep going. 💛

Every day you get to choose who you become.
And choosing to turn your pain into purpose?
That decision can change your whole life — and someone else’s. 💛

24/11/2025

I wish I knew that it gets better, so I’m telling you. 🤍

There were seasons in my life where the pain felt so heavy that I genuinely couldn’t see a way forward. I had moments where I sat in places I should’ve never been, thinking thoughts I should’ve never had to think… because life felt unbearable.

But I’m standing here today — healing, hopeful, and transformed — as living proof that it gets better.

It gets so much better.

Hold on. 💛

I miss you so much uncle Solly 😔🥀 - thank you for the words you spoke over my life - I’ll never forget ❤️

“Your personal experiences are going to become your ministry experiences.”

Solomon said this to me repeatedly the year before his passing and I didn’t understand it at the time. I was still in the middle of the mess, the pain, the confusion… wondering how any of it could ever serve a purpose.

But now… I see it.
I’m living it.
I’m watching the fruit grow from seasons I didn’t think I’d survive.

Everything I’ve walked through — the healing, the breaking, the rebuilding — has become the foundation of the work I do today. And to stand on this side of the journey and see lives being impacted because I kept going? It’s humbling. It’s full-circle. It’s God.

So here’s your reminder: nothing you’ve lived through is wasted and there is purpose in every part of your story.

If you’re in your “middle” right now, keep holding on. One day, your experience will become someone else’s breakthrough 🤍

🕊️✨ “It’s like a deep breath.” 🕊️✨

That’s how one of our beautiful students described what our T.H.R.I.V.E. programme felt like to her when we ended in May 🥺💗

A moment to slow down, reflect, and feel seen in a school system that often overlooks mental and emotional wellbeing. In just a few weeks, she made powerful connections between her past experiences, her thought patterns, and her mental health — not just in school, but in life.

This is why early intervention matters. This is what happens when young people are given safe spaces to unpack, reframe, and exhale. 💭🤍

Our work at Mission Exhale CIC is about transformation and soul care… and there is still so much more to do.

📩 Schools wanting to embed emotional wellbeing into their curriculum: we create bespoke programmes that meet young people where they are, and walk with them towards who they’re becoming.

Honoured, grateful, and a little bit in awe 💛

Last month I gave my first primary school talk for Black History Month at Chestnuts Primary School and I absolutely loved it! It was also my first time sharing my personal journey, including the challenges and difficulties I’ve faced, as part of a BHM spotlight.

I was invited as a lovely friend recommended me when the school sent a call out looking for people that represent Black success in the community. The fact that I came to mind means so much 🥹 and gently challenged my imposter syndrome in the best way. 🫶🏽

One of my favourite moments was realising that there were young Black girls wearing glasses (I left the contacts at home that day 👓) who got to see someone they could relate to standing in front of them, sharing her story with confidence.

That meant a lot to me personally — because when I was younger, I hated wearing glasses and it’s taken a lot of inner work to now stand and speak proudly, whether I have them on or not. 💛

Every child in that room engaged so beautifully - from different cultures, voices, and perspectives - all celebrating with boldness and pride which was very fitting with this year’s BHM theme!

This talk was about celebrating resilience, inspiring confidence, and reminding young people that their stories matter. 💕

Thank you for having me ✨
