Sindi Kachuck Helping women ditch dieting so they can live life fully, feel empowered and confident! Find your Food & Body Freedom here!
(1)

My mission is to empower women to trust they know how best to nourish their body and mind to feel fabulous, confident, and at peace in their own skin as they are, so they can be present in every moment and enjoy life fully every day. I specialize in helping women ditch dieting to heal their relationship with food and be kind to their body so they can reclaim energy, time and pleasure to engage confidently in what matters most - family, friends and fun! As women, we have been taught to aspire to an impossible ideal that says we need to eat and look a certain way in order to achieve optimal health, success, and happiness. I believe that we are all unique individuals with unique gifts to offer that have nothing to do with our physical being. We are worthy of love and respect, especially from ourselves, as we are. Diet culture and weight cycling have often led us to feelings of failure, self-doubt, self-sabotage, and hopelessness that can cause us to hold back from enjoying life’s day-to-day moments, milestones and celebrations, and connecting with our partners. When we learn how to connect with our own intuition, take care of ourselves first, and be kind to our body, we realize that our worth is not a measure of any number on a scale or the size of our jeans and we can come into our full potential and power, showing up as the best version of ourselves in every aspect of our lives. We can be confident and sexy as we are - perfectly imperfect!!

Imagine every woman on the face of this planet knowing she is enough.

She feels beautiful in her skin.

She feels peace around food and about her body.

We say NO to the diet industry because it is designed to keep women feeling bad about themselves and keeps us in the destructive cycle of the restrict/ and binge.

We say YES to an intuitive, peaceful approach to eating because every woman is the unique dietary authority of her own body.

We say YES to health, wholesome health in every aspect of life.

We are a judgment-free community for women by women - no body/fat shaming

We as a community do not focus on weight loss as a goal, however, weight loss can be a natural by-product of loving and trusting yourself, healing your relationship to food, learning lifelong strategies that allow you to LIVE, and making peace with your body.

How do you stay consistent in your health journey and break free from the diet world?

You need the tools to do so, and not the quick fixes. These are “life-er” tools that aren’t just a “thing” you’ll do once. They’re strategies you’ll learn and use again and again.

And these aren’t the tools that everyone gets either. (not like most programs)

What does that mean?

When you work with me, we work to put together a custom plan that fits your needs, your lifestyle, your schedule, it’s a plan for YOU.

Tired of trying to fit into “out of the box” plans?

Then it’s time we talk and discuss your needs to see if one of my few spots are a fit for you and if not, 100% I can point you in the right direction.

Are you ready? DM me and let me know.

How do I know what places in your health journey you get stuck? Because, I was JUST like you.

I was jumping from diet to diet, I was dissatisfied with the way I looked and every celebration with friends and family was a nightmare.

I was a well-practiced “restrict-er” and though I was secretly proud of my self-control I didn't enjoy myself and would be filled with regret the next day because I missed out on some of my favourite foods. Then, I’d binge afterward to make up for it.

Then there were times where I was so frustrated with dieting and tired of the restriction and deprivation that I would just “give in” and say what the f**k, I’ll deal with it tomorrow and eat whatever I want, and then I’d overeat, which made me feel like s**t physically and emotionally.

So it was a lose lose situation - I overate, was unhappy and filled with regret either way.

It took me time to figure it out, but I did. And I knew I had to share this with ALL women.

…So
— And I became a health coach who empowers women to trust that they know what’s best for them and their body.

So I could ultimately wake up every day, and help people like you. Do you relate to or do any of the above? Have you tried a restriction diet?

It’s officially mid-January. Have you taken on any “promise” programs that have already let you down?

Odds are, most people start to slow their commitment to a new year’s program around this time.

Why?

Because every promise has conditions! (which I guess is more like signing up for bribery?)

Hear me out….

You sign up for this program that tells you if you do this and that, and cut out half of the things you love, then you’ll finally love how you look! (but you’re not loving your life 🥴 )

So let’s just all agree that none of us need any of that bulls**t.

What you do need is someone who will customize the approach to you, you DESERVE that, and this process shouldn’t feel like a give and take, it should just feel like you’re GIVING…to yourself.

You with me?

Restriction.

We’ve all been there, and (if we’re being honest) we all know it doesn’t work.

Withholding foods, treats, and anything you love creates nothing but the feeling of “missing out”. This in turn leads to you “caving” and your “diet” to come crashing down when you do.

🍪You have one cookie, so you might as well have 10
🍦 You have ice cream so what’s another night, or 7
🍨 You already had ice cream the night before so why not do take-out for 4 days that you feel like crap when you eat, but you haven’t had them in so long so you get them anyway since the diet is “off” for now.

And the cycle repeats again and again.

“Where do I start, Sindi?” 😔 I’ve heard it as the last plea from many clients and though it may feel difficult, I promise there are answers…

That have nothing to do with restriction and all-or-nothing living

A great start would be to take my latest quiz (in my bio link) to determine your personalized roadmap out of food and body obsession.

It’s time to start taking steps in the right direction for YOU.

Nailed it.

The picture 📸 and the pleasure 😋.

I DID NOT make this because I felt the need to detox after the holidays.

No need to reset or deprive myself because I ate a little more than I usually do at other times during the year - that’s NORMAL for the holidays.

💯 It happens every year.

Please don’t let the new year, new you crap get to you.

Have a smoothie because you love it - I mean really love it.

I don’t usually drink smoothies in the winter - it’s too damn cold 🥶 for icy fruit, but chocolate feels warm to me even when it’s cold.

And when I opened my app to do my workout the recipe was there and it called out to me.

Eat things because they sound good, you love the taste, they satisfy and nourish you, not because someone says you should.

But most important of all - eat for pleasure, not ❌ the scale.

You’ll be so much happier and at peace with yourself.

Here it is for all you chocolate lovers out there.

1 cup milk of your choice
1/2 frozen banana, sliced
1 tbsp of chia/hemp seeds
1 tbsp of nut/seed butter
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 tsp of cocoa powder
1 pinch of sea salt
1 date or sweetener of your choice (or none)
1 cup ice cubes
frozen cauliflower (optional)

I topped mine with sunflower seeds and cacao nibs for a bit of crunch.

Be sure to save this post - and share it with a friend!

💭 Ever wonder what it’s like eating and meal planning as a nutritionist and empowered eating coach?

This is one of the more frequent questions I get asked.

Although the question comes less from curiosity and more in the way of, “how can I replicate what you do?”

✨ Something I tell all of my clients is there is no one size fits all approach to this.

You are uniquely you and need to find a system that works for not only your body but within your lifestyle.

This is what a rough weekly plan looks like for me - You’ll see how flexible I keep it:
(There are 5 adults in my house and that requires some sort of planning)

Breakfast and lunch I usually eat the same kind of thing and don’t really plan around it. If I’m really feeling inspired I might make some egg cups!

With dinners, I ask everyone what they are feeling like for the upcoming week.

I get ideas from the family and then think about what I’m in the mood for, what season is it - summertime means we grill a lot and fall/winter means roasted foods that give us warmth.

Over the week we will likely eat a fish dish, a chicken dish, pasta, sometimes pizza. Other weeks may have red meat or a vegetarian option.

It’s adaptable to fit how we are feeling on the night.

If you’d like to start eating freely, I invite you to take my quiz to find our YOUR personalized road map for food freedom. Link in the comments!

The Inner Critic

Do you have her?

For years she:
❌ Has been controlling you.
❌ Prides you on your ability for self-control
❌ Knows how many calories in any piece of food
❌ Sits on your shoulder whispering if food is ‘good’ or ‘bad’
❌ Peeks out from the mirror making judgement

… and you’re getting REALLY sick of her. Actually, exhausted!

It’s time.

For something new.

For something that works.

For something you can stick to.

For something simple.

And that ‘something’ is trusting yourself.

I won’t promise the journey will be easy, and there are bound to be road bumps.

But I can promise you it will be worth it.

I’d love to invite you to take my free quiz to help you identify where your inner critic is stepping in and get personalized steps to reclaim what really matters.

👋 DM me to say goodbye to your inner critic for good.

“It's okay to not be okay”

You are going to have bad days. But when they happen, remind yourself that you’re the leader.

This is a motto I have used on my own body kindness journey (which is still ongoing).

I’ve had to remind myself that...
✅ there is nothing wrong with me
✅ fluctuations are normal
✅ our bodies are NOT static

Takeaways:
💥 Let go of rules
💥 Being smaller ≠ happiness
💥 Enjoy the holidays

⌃⌃ this. Because being kind to yourself is the way to accepting yourself and natural changes 🥰 ... and remember there aren't any rules this holiday season, enjoy life!

How does your relationship with food impact your relationships?

Simple, subconscious actions can have a bigger impact on your relationships than you may realise.

✨ Friends
You turn down invitations to events because you can’t control what’s on the menu and what you will eat. Loss of control means you often turn down events which in turn can lead to friends feeling hurt or angry.

✨ Partners

Have you ever felt the need to hide what you eat? You might think this is a harmless secret, but the secrecy can be detected by partners that can lead to a lack of trust. OR

✨ Children
You talk endlessly with friends about what you eat and how you look because they have problems similar to yours. This negative body talk around children is picked up on and generally how your kids will learn to eat and look at their bodies.

Instead, work on modelling a healthy acceptance of your body. Don’t complain about body parts you’re unhappy with and normalise treating yourself on nights out.

Remember, it’s progress over perfection.

If you’re concerned about the impact your relationship with food is having on your relationships it could be time to seek further help.

So, is this you?

How will I know I am getting enough nutrients?

You will just know.

When you start trusting yourself you become intuitively connected to how you feel.

I coach women through the process of letting go of dieting and diet mentality.

This frees you from restrictions, deprivation and rules that cause you to stop listening to your body.

When you don’t eat intuitively, you are putting your hormones out of whack which throws your body into survival mode - it’s no wonder you don’t know what you need to be eating.

With an intuitive eating model, you’ll learn to recognize when you feel good and what your body needs more or less of.

It’s about making peace with yourself and adopting a personal body connection and being in tune with your energy levels and how your body feels.

What’s the hardest part of learning to trust your body when it comes to eating the right foods? 👇

I’m on a mission.

I’m on a mission to help women stop obsessing over their bodies and start eating freely, so they can enjoy life without the fear of weight gain.

Double-tap ❤️ if that’s something you would like.

For years I gave control of what I ate and how I felt about my body to diet culture - believing I wasn't good enough unless I ate on plan and kept my “ideal” weight.

It left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated as I jumped from plan to plan, always starting over when I failed.

I began to understand that no diet plan or set of rules for eating was ever going to make me feel good inside or be satisfied with how I looked.

I didn’t want this for myself, for my daughters and now I don’t want this for you.

Are you ready to stop obsessing over your body and eating? Then here’s what you need to do...

1️⃣ Understand you are capable, intelligent and know enough about eating healthy to make choices that feel good for you
2️⃣ Take my FREE quiz (link in bio) to discover the prevailing issue causing your food and body obsession.
3️⃣ Follow the personalized action steps on your roadmap to food freedom

Healthful eating means eating a variety of foods.

When I talk about having an ‘all foods fit’ mentality, this means you can and should eat anything.

When we restrict ourselves, this is when we run into problems like:

👉 Stress, leading to fat storage
👉 Binge eating
👉 Guilt
👉 Feelings of missing out

If you are READY to rethink your food obsession, share this with a friend to act as an accountability partner or tag them in the comments and let them help you reach your goal 💕

78% of American women are just like you.

That is, 78% of women are either on a diet or keeping close tabs on what they eat.

This means these women are likely not feeling confident in their bodies.

That should tell you something about diet culture, right?

It doesn’t work.

What’s stopping you from feeling confident and in a never-ending cycle of food obsession?

Of the hundreds of women I’ve worked with, I’ve found 3 common issues that are stopping you from feeling your best.

If you’re like these many women, I’m sure at least a couple of these will resonate with you:

👍 You jump from one diet to the next
👍 The number on the scales influences your mood
👍 Calorie-counting is second nature
👍 You think about food ALL the time
👍 Self-judgment is part of your daily routine
👍 You use food as both a reward and a comfort
👍 Social events are a cause of stress

These are the patterns of the 3 most prevalent issues I see in women who are 👉stuck👈 in a food obsession cycle.

Which ones stick out to you the most? (You don’t have to tell us).

Would you like to identify which prevailing issue is your main concern and get personalized action steps to escape food obsession and start feeling good in your body?

💯 I have created a free quiz that will tell you exactly that.

Comment below or DM me and I will send you a 🔗 link to the quiz.

“But one time I read …”

🙏 It’s okay to feel confused.

🙏 It’s natural to be overwhelmed.

🙏 It’s understandable to have no idea what you’re doing wrong.

And you know why?

Because you are *uniquely* you.

What works for one person will not necessarily work for you.

We’ve become programmed into thinking we ‘must’ follow a certain plan, diet, or lifestyle to be healthy.

You’ve relied on online experts to tell you the exact steps to lose weight (only these experts have never met you).

The big secret you’ve been missing out on…

👉 YOU know YOU best.

The tricky part is learning to ignore what you’ve been told.

But guess what…

Deep down, you know the answers.

Without overthinking this, comment what you know about feeling your best self, something that comes from within 💟

I decided things had to change!

When you look through my highlight reel you could be fooled into thinking I’ve always had my diet and lifestyle under control.

But, I’m human and I also struggled with judging myself, dieting and unhealthy habits.

It wasn’t until I realized that if I didn’t turn things around it would start to impact the relationship my daughters would have with their food and I didn’t want them to repeat the same mistakes I made.

I knew the thoughts around my body and the way I ate was not the way I wanted them to live - which meant deep down I knew my lifestyle wasn’t healthy.

This is when I invested in a health coach.

I needed someone who would work with me personally to get me off the diet roller coaster and stop worrying about every bite of food I ate.

I just wanted to feel healthy, fit and in control of my cravings.

With her guidance, I

✨ Stopped judging myself
✨ Started enjoying foods
✨ Had control over my cravings

It was life-changing! 💥

With this first taste of food freedom, I wanted every woman to feel as good as I did.

I said no to:
❎ Calorie counting
❎ Obsessive weigh-ins
❎ Guilt

If you’d like to join a supportive group of women who are also ready to say no - DM me the word ‘healthy’ and I will send you the link to my private Facebook group.

Also, there will be a free masterclass on how to coast through the holidays feeling calm, confident & in control around food on December 7th at 8:00 pm EDT. Doesn't that sound like a dream? You have to be in the group to see it.

🙏🏼 Give thanks 🦃

In this order.

Fun, Family, Friends, Food
🥳 👪 👯 🥧

We put so much emphasis on food around the holidays and worry so much about what we can/can’t or should/shouldn’t eat that we forget to just be present.

Your number one priority this holiday is to have FUN.

By all means, PLEASE take pleasure in eating.

Eat all the things you love.

Foods that make you happy and satisfy you, both physically and emotionally.

💯 YES, there is room for some emotion or joy in eating.

✅ Do so mindfully, unapologetically, and without judgement.

❌ No rationalizing or making deals with yourself about how you’ll make up for it - you are worthy and deserve nourishment.

Just pay attention to what you love and how you feel when you eat and ignore any of the “diet” talk.

Always remember - you are way more than what you eat and the number on the scale.

That’s how you bring FUN into your life around food and how you can enjoy eating in any circumstances.

Tell me in the comments 👇🏼 one thing you will eat this year unapologetically and without guilt!

Nourish not punish!

Isn’t it time you stop punishing yourself?

How long have you been obsessively thinking about food and your body?

You deserve to…

✅ Have a healthier relationship with food
✅ Accept and appreciate your body
✅ Be present with family and friends
✅ Enjoy yourself by not hanging back and missing out on activities or meals

When you start listening and trusting your body you will learn to eat in a way that's sustainable to your unique needs & lifestyle.

You’ll eat out of nourishment and will find both happiness & pleasure in eating.

Nourishment is more than just nutrients - it’s about feeling satisfied.

Drop a ❤️ if you’re ready to nourish not punish

18/11/2021

It’s time to stop overeating (and learn how).

To feel healthy and happy in your body, you need to learn to trust yourself.

For years, you’ve jumped from one diet to the next.

Over time, you’ve become accustomed to following ‘the rules’ of what to eat.

The last diet didn’t work, so you’re on to the next one. How many times have you repeated that pattern?

Something isn’t working.

When you focus solely on dieting to stop yourself from overeating it creates a restrictive mindset.

Which leaves no room for...

👉 Life
👉 Slip-ups
👉 Trust in your body

Even when you follow the diet so well - restriction can only work for a short period.

You become vulnerable to triggers and due to the metabolism slowing down, as soon as you stop the diet, the weight comes back plus some.

If this sounds familiar you might be what I call the dieter.

Lately, I've been working on some really exciting things for people who struggle with overeating and dieting.

A great start would be to take my latest quiz (in my bio link) to determine your personalized roadmap out of food and body obsession.

tag a friend who needs to hear this

It's okay to take a different path...

especially the one less travelled.

That's where the magic happens!

Yesterday I took a different path on my usual route, one I had looked at so many times but didn't go on because I didn't know how far it went or where I'd end up.

Funny thing is - I ended up exactly where I needed to be.

And yet the experience & feeling was completely different -

it was so refreshing & exhilarating.

How many times do we do that?
Stop ourselves out of the fear of the unknown.

I see women do it all the time when it comes to food and their body.

They want to be free to eat whatever they want AND feel confident in themselves, comfy in their skin.

But unfortunately, they keep taking the same dieting path to get there and it's filled with lots of ⬆️s and ⬇️s that eventually lead them to the same place -

deprived and dissatisfied.

That was me too.

'Cause, we've been convinced by diet culture that we'll find it on the scale.

As soon as we hit that 🪄magic number.

There isn't one.

The magic is within you right now, as you are. You just need to take a different path.

💯 Eating freely & feeling confident happens when you make peace with food and yourself.

That can only come when you break up with dieting & diet rules.

Scary, I know, but I'm a great guide and I can get you past the fear.

Curious? DM me, and I'll give you a roadmap.

Who knows you better?

For years I gave control of what I ate and how I felt about my body to diet culture - believing I wasn't good enough unless I ate on plan and kept my “ideal” weight.

It left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated as I jumped from plan to plan, always starting over when I failed.

Bet you can relate.

It’s too much to figure out on your own especially when you lead busy lives as moms, wives, daughters, and career women.

So you rely on experts to tell you how to feel better in your body and about yourself.

💯 What you want is to be healthy, feel energetic & confident, and let’s not lie to ourselves - we want to look great.

You follow all the things, but nothing sticks long term.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Wanna know why?

‘Cause only YOU can be the best expert on YOU!!

They don’t know -
✅ what foods you love & what satisfies you.
✅ how they make you feel.
✅ what your life is like.

Only you know that!

But you’ve been taught to ignore your feelings, hunger, desires, & your intuition.

It’s left you disconnected from your body and convinced others know better so you’re left in an endless battle with your body.

Throwing your hormones out of whack and causes more intense cravings and feeling like you have no willpower, no ability to control your portions, snacking or hunger.

And you’re thinking about food all.day.long.

Your brain's in survival mode - protecting your body from famine - dieting and deprivation trigger the brain to ⬆️ hunger signals.

You diet because you fear you’ll gain weight without the rules but it backfires.

❎ So you don’t need another diet.

Instead, you need to trust that you know what’s best for you - and EAT what you like & feels good!!!

Trust that if you listen to your body and focus on satisfaction, not just calories or what’s “healthy”, it will naturally control hunger and cravings.

You won’t overeat because your brain will get the message that food is readily available and your hormones will come back into balance.

I know it seems unbelievable, but it works.

🙌🏼 if you'll give it a try it for a few days and let me know what happens.
