Heyyyy !!! So according to the poll Biology is the first subject that we will commence studying! Quick note however; since this page is literally public we will do the study discussions strictly on the NURSES CONNECT GROUP PAGE! I’ll put in the link below!

Ladies!!! ♥️ What prompt y’all to consider the nursing field and what prerequisites did you start off with? Let’s talk about it!!

I’m personally doing all my prerequisites at once! What prompt me to consider the field of nursing is family. From a very young age I always wanted to be a doctor; however, life happened and that changed over the course of the years. I’m currently a NHA Certified phlebotomy technician and also EKG certified.

My mom was diagnosed with end stage renal failure two years ago and seeing how she was being cared for at a local hospital didn’t sit right with me. (Not saying all the visits were horrible, but that particular day was devastating).

Last year, my brother was diagnosed with stomach cancer and my son’s father was also diagnosed with colon cancer. Therefore; I want to be the change for them! I’m going it for them, then me!!!
