Don’t you think your doctor should be involved throughout, and get paid not each time you spend 10 minutes with her, but to actually solve your 3 week ordeal? In short: We can't. When a doctor takes insurance, they must only do things approved by insurers. Insurers love predictability and avoid anything new and different. Not taking insurance enables doctors to offer innovative, convenient services that simplify your life. We want you to be in control. Sherpaa members create an Episode of Care whenever they need medical or mental health care. They simply choose "I have a mental health question" and tell us, in their own words about their situation. All Sherpaa members have their own Sherpaa P*P they work with regularly 90% of the time. Sherpaa also employs psychologists. From there, they were able to optimize every single one of their internal processes via reams of data, driving down their costs and maximizing their revenue. #1: Instead of waiting weeks for doctor appointments or shlepping to urgent care centers, people need a new starting point to get care and it should be available to all, 24/7/365, from any place. Traditionally, in order to understand what you need when you think you need medical care, you spend time and money on visiting a doctor in-person. Instead of first incurring cost to understand who and what you need, you’ve got to believe it’s much more convenient and cost-effective to see if treatment and ongoing management can be done exclusively online.
