Thank you for this great graphic! This is emotional resilience right here ❤️ As human beings it’s normal for us to experience emotions. The key is how we relate and respond to our inner world. Have you noticed yourself trying to push down certain emotions? Do you bottle things up? Or perhaps you dwell on situations for long periods of time, going over and over scenarios in your mind? Being emotionally resilient means instead of dwelling, or making yourself ‘wrong’ for experiencing all kinds of feelings (eg, you don’t need to be positive 24/7) you do something different 👉 You pause, and approach your emotional landscape with compassion, with curiosity and with courage. Emotions give us important information, if we are willing to pause with them, listen in a friendly companionable way and ask, “What are you teaching me emotion (sadness/anger/grief/rage, happiness/exhaustion/joy/fear/resentment/jealousy...etc) that’s, useful, important or positive for me?” Start to journal the answers. I’d say for 20mins -30mins each day. You’ll find that you will become less reactive and be able to respond and take action in a way that aligns with your true values. 🌟
