I graduated from Leeds University in 2010 and completed my vocational training in Surrey the following year. Since then, I have worked in several practices for long periods of time, building up long-term patient relationships and acquiring the skills and knowledge I have today to provide a broad spectrum of dental treatments. I am a member of The British Dental Association, the Royal College of Su

rgeons Faculty of Dental Surgery and the International Team for Implantology. I am capable of calming and reassuring patients, adults and children, and feel comfortable treating patients who have a variety of requirements. I am extremely enthusiastic about cosmetic dentistry, and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest innovations in this field. I have therefore become a fully qualified Invisalign provider which allows me to further reach patients aesthetic desires.

Simple bonding to balance the proportions of her smile.

When big things are placed next to little things- it makes the big look bigger and small look smaller.

I.e out of proportion.

blending the size of the teeth here by adding volume to the laterals allows the teeth to look more harmonious.

Yum.

I’m at that stage of my career where I am not only placing peoples first sets of bonds, but performing remedial or replacement work.

Bonding should last approx 5-7 years if done well and looked after.

Once they have hit their expiry date/ which means I can no longer just do minor maintenance- we need to look to replace them.

This is where we can upgrade what was originally placed to a more advanced and refreshed set of bonds - like in this case.

This patient presented with all sorts of irregularities - chipped incisor edges, peg lateral, dimpled enamel.

After a course of whitening, I placed 4 composite bonds to improve the harmony and proportions of her smile. The edges of her teeth now look more refined and the laterals have added volume!

Wicked result!

This patient wanted to improve the contour and shape of her lips. She has a very small mouth so we did not want to over fill the lips and make her look ducky! Nooooo way

So I used my profiling technique and sharpened her cupid's bow and vermillion border to provide a more contoured lip shape.

As you can also see, she suffers with dry lips. I therefore placed microdroplets of filler in the lip body to hydrate the lips - perfect for winter time. Viola!

Such a simple case with amazing results.

This lady had invisalign years ago elsewhere but felt her teeth were looking a bit aged and tired.

What I can see in her before:
🦷 Small chip in the upper central incisor
🦷 The lateral incisors (second teeth) have slightly crept back so are not in alignment
🦷 Translucent thin edges
🦷 White spots within the enamel
🦷 Asymmetry

After a course of whitening, I provided 4 composite bonds on the front teeth to refresh her smile!

Round up of my latest lips treatments.

With most patients, in order to keep lip filler looking natural I use a soft hydrating filler which will naturally plump the lips. I carefully place the filler artistically to structure and build a lip profile rather than just bulk fill.

Keeping it more natural this time!

This gentleman had some clear step aligner work but was still not happy with the final result. He also presented with some old stained bonding on his upper left lateral which is a peg tooth.

The brief was specific - he did not want to have a full smile makeover… so we kept it simple!

This shows that we really can tailor the bonding to suit the person and their end goals!

Lip tweaks, a series!

I love how the vermillion border of the upper lip can be sharpened using linear threads with filler. This is a special injection technique which traces the joint between the lip and outer tissue to sharpen the line.

It's my favorite lip profiling technique! Minimal intervention for maximum effect!

Replacing OLD bonding with NEW!

I'm finding more and more these days that I am replacing aged bonding, badly placed bonding, or incorrectly designed bonding.

The before photo shows this patient's original bonding - too thin and long for her smile.

I carefully removed her old bonding and placed 8 new composite bonds which are more in fitting with her smile proportions!

Now taking bookings for consultations in November 2023.
