My apologies for not getting back sooner with my emails, i promise i’ll work on them this evening and tomorrow! It’s been a hectic couple of weeks with kids, family, friends and classes. Here’s another one of my favorite cake arrangements from an advance class this morning. Which reminds me i need to update my outdated website! More hours to my day please! 🤍

Certainly wouldn’t mind a pocketful of posy like this! Subtle pastel shades on delicate petals make this look almost ethereal. The everything edible bouquet. A signature advance class arrangement 🤍

The metamorphosis of the butterfly has always fascinated me! But no im not piping caterpillars or pupas :) Twas a beautiful morning yesterday.. we decorated 2 cakes! Here’s one of them! 🤍

The weather is beautifully temperate today. Dug out my xmas tree from the store room and got it set up with xmas music piping in the background. Also having the kids finally complete their exams certainly elevated my joy factor. Thank you for staying on with me if i still have you reading this! Just going to sneakily mention that ive received a few requests to run mum and daughter classes for cake decorating this holiday and I thought: how fun! Ive got one such class happening soon and i cannot wait! Genuinely very excited.

I adore this for everything it is. The colours, the thin petals, the organic movement of stems and of course, the perched butterfly. Fully edible work by . It was a lovely advance class morning in the company of creative folks. Thank you for giving me another reason to love what i do🤍

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” Henri Matisse . One of my favourite quotes. Be grateful for what you have. Live not for the what-ifs, but choose to see the beauty in your circumstance. Somedays are easier, somedays a little tougher. It’s been trying recently when i can’t seem to find my worth in the social media arena. Thoughts of not being good enough brings me down but i know this is the game social media plays in our brain. Then this recent student cake caught my sight as i scrolled through my photo feed. I love the colours, and i love the vibe i get from it. This is me, this is my style and i need to feed off the positives i’ve received over the years and fend off the pressures of the virtual world. I pray to grow in confidence, to keep self doubt at bay.. one step at a time. May we always choose to see the blooms instead of the gloom 🤍
