Happy Tuesday!
I wanted to share this weight-loss transformation.
In the beginning this man was so resistant towards the knowledge that I was trying to share with him.
He was on high blood pressure medicine and he dealt with inflammation in the body.
I can truly say I never forced my way of eating on him. I wanted him to make the change for himself .
Growing up he always shared with me how he would eat pork chops, ribs , fried chicken, lasagna , spaghetti, yellow rice , potatoe salad . Pretty much everything that can lead to diabetes , cholesterol and high blood pressure .
After some time, Things began to change for him.
My husband Marcus has lost a total of 78 pounds .
He has implemented
* intermittent fasting
* Drinking more water
* Being active by playing basketball
* Eating salmon
* Eating more veggies
* Laying off the sodas
* Vegan dairy alternatives
This process took 4 years !
I stood beside him and allowed him to go on his own pace.
I wanted him to do this for himself! Now he’s more happier, he can play basketball without having joint pain after. He can be more stylish with his wardrobe because he can find more in his size . He doesn’t take high blood pressure medicine anymore .
Most importantly, I’m not worried about him not being able to see our kids and grandchildren one day! He will be alive and no sickness will overtake his health again!
We have to be patient with the ones we LOVE đź’—
