Church records and gravestone inscriptions could be the key to unlocking the history of your Irish ancestors.

Our hard working transcribing team at NIFHS are constantly adding new records to these collections. Many of them cover the period before Civil Registration and are often unavailable elsewhere.

Once transcribed, all these records are added to the large library of resources in our Research Centre.

If you are a member of the Society, you can visit our Research Centre to look at these in person or request a Look Up remotely.
