Sweet Tooth Dental is looking for a part-time or full-time hygienist. We are a privately owned, two-doctor practice with two locations - Destrehan and Old Metairie.

We are highly focused on patient relationships, patient education, and comprehensive patient care. Our daily practice systems reflect these values.

In today’s healthcare system, we are all rushed through without any personal touch. At Sweet Tooth, we are different. Every new patient is seen by the doctor for a 1.5-hour comprehensive exam. We spend time getting to know each patient personally and developing an individualized plan that meets their goals and desires. We talk about dental health and dental disease and show them the difference. A full series of radiographs and photographs are taken at the initial visit. Then each patient returns for a comprehensive review of the doctor’s findings and recommendations.

Our hygienists love our system. The patients understand their dental condition and become more health-focused. It’s a win-win for everyone!

BEFORE ➡️ AFTER by Dr. G! ✨

This patient was very self-conscious of her teeth and smile. Knowing that more dental treatment will be necessary in the future, she was unable to commit to everything at once. This option of composite bonding as an interim treatment will buy her some time until she is ready to move forward with a more esthetic solution, like porcelain veneers.

She was thrilled with the results!
