Some gorgeous yogi babies doing seesaw balances and socialising I love 💕 how babies love 💕 babies 👶🏼
Each Yoga Pearls baby yoga session has been carefully created by a child development specialist so that this course gives parents the tools to promote their baby’s physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. Seesaw balances promote balance, coordination, spacial awareness and helps to strengthen muscles. These babies are far too busy enjoying their conversation to notice any of that 😁 I wonder what they are saying!!

I had the pleasure of trying TRE exercises at one of Rachael’s classes last week and I would highly recommend to everyone. We can all benefit from letting go of negative emotions that become stored in the body. Go with an open mind and prepare to feel great. There are so many benefits to practicing baby yoga with your baby. Physiological, developmental and psychological benefits are evident with regular practice.

Physiological and developmental benefits:
💜The stimulation of all bodily systems, including the digestive and nervous systems. Baby yoga supports improved digestion and with many of the moves babies are able to release wind
💜Babies will often appear settled and restful after practicing a few yoga moves and stretches due to the calming affect on the nervous system 😇😴
💜Improved muscle tone, needed for sitting and crawling
💜Baby Yoga offers recourses to keep babies contented between feeds and helps to reduce colic 👶
💜Assists with baby’s transitions into new developmental stages and helps to reduce their frustration when they are in the transition from one stage to another.
💜Tactile stimulation has been shown to contribute to the development of the brain 🧠 and the nervous system.
💜Improved quality of sleep 😴
💜In many children the vestibular system, responsible for balance, spacial awareness and coordination, is under developed. In each of our baby yoga classes specific moves are included such as rolling and swings to stimulate this important system for short and long term improvements 🤸‍♀️
