How’s this for a glow up?

Summer 2020 I was a depressed, fat, alcoholic. You don’t have to say it, I know it. Last year I hit a low point with losing my job, covid, just freakin everything. I honestly didn’t care about myself at all.

As you can see- that changed. It actually changed when my Beachbody account got cancelled and I got a kick in the ass from my coach.

Then it was like a fkin lightbulb went off. I had to change. I couldn’t just wait for something to change - I HAD TO CHANGE IT.

So I tightened my damn shoe laces and here I am. Loving myself, my body, and taking CARE of it.

It’s like they say - the grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it. WELL BABY I WATERED, SEADED, AND FERTILIZED THE WHOLE FEILD!

Now we just have to keep on growing 🌼

This little dancer is all signed up to start Cheerleading next week and Ballet in the fall! So of course we had to practice our moves with Barre Blend this morning!

How cool is it that we can use this program to not only workout and strength train, but learn to DANCE! Like as if I actually knew what a pliet was before today 😂🙄 But this morning we learned all of our positions, toe points, and names of moves! After the next 60 days we’ll be ready to conquer our new dance season!! 🩰👯‍♀️ and you bet we’ll be doing Let’s Get Up again to keep our spirits high for cheer!!

Ahhhh mondays. The reset and restart days. Mondays are the most important days when it comes to sticking to a routine. Between birthday parties and family in town I definitely over indulged this weekend (and basically added an extra 1000 calories to my diet in liquid form 😜) but we’re not about to just throw in the towel! Time to hit play and kick ass this week!

And just like that I’ve lost FOURTY FREAKIN POUNDS! I’ve literally lost the weight of my 4 year old kid. GONE. IN FIVE MONTHS.

For those of you asking about all the “hard work” I put in - the only thing HARD was putting MYSELF FIRST and committing to my health! Following the plan is EASY. half hour workouts are EASY. it’s 30 freakin minutes a day. THATS IT. and in my jam packed schedule it was easily manageable. I can breathe easier. I can pick up my kid with ease. I can run around and play soccer and go for a long walk with the dog and just be ACTIVE. I’m never tired through the day (no more after work naps) and even my brain function is better. I’m doing extremely well at work and school and much better as a patient, loving mom.

Once you start putting your health first things just fall into place. Everything just works together like a moving clock.

I do NOT starve. I do NOT miss out on birthday cakes or taco night or pizza and snacks during movie nights. And we all know I’ll crush a 6 pack on the weekends 🍻

It’s just about a routine! For the first time in years I fricken love my body and am so proud of what it has accomplished. It’s given life, withstood abuse, and has been though HELL AND BACK!

And it’s only getting stronger 💪🏻💪🏻
