Post graduate funding now available - Please read and follow the instructions carefully
Health Education England is pleased to share the link to the Eyecare on-line application form for Funding for eyecare practitioners working in North East and Yorkshire for the following 6 Eyecare courses:
Professional Certificate in Glaucoma
Professional Higher Certificate in Glaucoma
Diploma in Glaucoma
Independent Prescribing
Professional Certificate in Medical Retina
Professional Certificate in Low Vision
Deadlines are short – applications must be received by Noon on 24 October 2022.
The application allows the applicant to select their preferred choice of university from these being delivered by GOC or College of Optometrist approved universities. The applicant will need to take into account the start date of the course at each university as to be in receipt of this funding all courses must start before 17 March 2023. Attached is the list of universities and what we understand are the start dates, with the exception of Low Vision. However, the accuracy of this information can’t be guaranteed as we were unable to make direct contact with each university. Therefore, applicants need to treat this as guidance only and undertake their own checks.
Applicants can apply for funding for more than one course, though a separate submission has to be completed for each course.
